Link Home Security Outdoor Wireless Camera

I needed to connect an outdoor wireless security camera to Wifi but the signal on the main router wasn't strong enough to penetrate a thick masonry wall. The TP-link solved this problem. I set it up inside at the wall needing signal penetration but in line with the router. It worked perfectly - having a booster closer to the camera did the trick.

Nice security boxes but you can reach in the top and pull the Link Micro camera right out. The entire top is open and the Link Micro will just come right out. Welded a narrow piece of metal to the top to keep someone from stealing it. The security box is too big for the Link Micro but with a little padding you can keep it in place. The info on the website says it will fit “Link” cameras but perhaps they didn’t mean “Link Micro” cameras.

I use this product to support a home video security system. I have 5 wireless G videocameras streaming live video from throughout my home. This is a budget setup and this router fit the bill perfectly. The router is constantly running at near wireless capacity as far as throughput. I use it on WPA2 b/g/n without issues. I gave it 5 stars because considering the cost and the benefits, I believe it is 5 stars. If this cost more, it would be 3 stars.

Notifications were instant with the Eufy Security Outdoor Camera and the picture, sound, and light are very clear with excellent image quality. Also the night and spotlight responsive provides visible setting. I am ecstatic about the Eufy Security Outdoor Camera and would definitely recommend it.

I now own 5 of these camera. I have had excellent satisfaction from all. I use them for wildlife viewing and home security.

Mount the sensors, open the ecobee app on your phone, step through adding the new device, and the security bundle was up and running in a couple of minutes. I also purchased the SmartCamera as part of the ecobee as part of the Home Security Bundle. And I already have an ecobee Smart Thermostat with Voice Control. These devices integrate through the ecobee App to create a very simple to use home security network for added peace of mind. And the Autopilot feature automatically takes care of turning on/off the security system and setting the thermostat to home/away as you come and go from your home. What a simple but effective design.

I'm using this microSD card on my outdoor security camera, and it's perfect for my needs because it's wearproof and temperature-proof. It came with an SD adapter, which is a great bonus, making it easy to transfer footage to my computer whenever needed.

This is my first ASUS router. I wish I had started with it! I had always used TP-Link. I started with a refurbished TP-Link-AX11000 (2.4GHz dropped out at random). Returned that and bought a NEW TP-Link AX10000. Experienced the same exact problem. Long story. The ASUS GT-AX11000 will not disappoint. I've had it for 6 weeks without a single issue. Super easy to setup. Love the ability to add custom pictures for the clients. Top notch equipment. My computer's MB is an ASUS, so no big surprise. Like I said...I wish I had started with it! My network has wired computers, wired TV\firesticks, wireless smart switches, and wireless camera. My camera frame rate is maxed out now without loss of quality. Thank You ASUS!
