I bought this little devise to link my iMac to my Event 20/20 monitors. It works exactly as advertised. Plugged it in to the USB on my Mac & plugged the XLRs from the monitors into the back. The Mac recognized the device, no problem and I was up & running in about 2 minutes. The only thing I would say is that when the computer sleeps, restarts or shuts down, there is a pretty loud pop through the speakers as it reconnects. It makes sense, so it's not surprising, but it did startle me the first time. Just be aware that it can happen, and it's no big deal. I really like this product and it's exactly what I was looking for. 5 |
