Linked Polymers Modeling Using Construction Paper

Excellent bridge camera with high quality construction. The autofocus linked with the high fps makes birds in flight easy to capture. This camera eliminates the excess camera gear on safaris, hikes and more.

Using this for macro photos. Works like a charm. Light output is fantastic. Lighter than my previous ring light so stress on the lens and motors is reduced. Some impact to autofocus with STM lenses, not so much with the one USM I have. Being able to adjust the left and right arrays individually allows for some modeling and shadow control. Will test performance as a closeup portrait lens at a later time, but I'm quite sure it will perform well. Be aware that this attaches to the lens via screw mount adapter(s). If your lens does not focus internally but instead focuses by rotating the front lens element(s) then the light itself will also rotate. Not an issue if you have both arrays set to the same level but if set differently, say for modeling, you may need to rotate the LIGHT after focus to get your desired control.

Using the modeling light with the battery, just drains the battery faster. While, obviously, using the battery doesn't require any power cords, it's rather frustrating to be in the middle of a shoot and the battery dies. The AC adapter has a power cord, but I also don't worry about having to stop a shoot. Great for the studio!

I'm impressed with what you get with this device for the price. Using this with Ad200pro is awesome with a Capitol A. You can use 1 Ad200pro or 2, as well as 1 bulb or 2. The modeling light is bright as you would need. Thats a plus. Dual power for sure. These actual put out as much light or more as than the Ad400pro, when you use 2 Ad200pros. I'm using this in combination with a modeling light. I'm very pleased with the ease of setup out of the box as well as the quality of construction. Also went right on my modeling light without any need for an adapter (which of course is what I expected, but still a good thing). I don't have a lot of space, so I appreciate that this is fairly compact yet still offers enough coverage to get most of the body.

I use this paper for head shots at a modeling agency. We shoot indoors when the weather isn't cooperating. I've gone through several of these and this brand lasts the longest. I notice less tears and creases in the paper, even when I'm flailing around trying to set it up without an assistant and thirty teenagers are running over it with high heels. It will hold up over a low-pile carpet for about an hour, but I recommend using it only over hard flooring surfaces to avoid punching through the paper with shoes. This is a no-brainer for most photogs, but the carpet nightmare is unavoidable for me. You can improve it's longevity by not doing what I do; don't shoot on carpet and don't try to raise and lower it on it's stand by yourself. OH, and do not use outdoors. Long story. Anyway, it's a great product and I plan to try other colors when this one wears out!
