Linksys Router Wifi Signal Booster

Complete game changer. Way better than any signal booster. Just set up a second wifi router on the other end of the house. Love it. 5 |

Awsome...this router was an upgrade from a very old linksys router. There is no way to compair this. The wifi 7 is blazing fast. There is only one down side and that is the wifi 7 range, but thats where the wifi 6 comes in. 5 |

This router replaced a 5 or 6 years old Linksys router that no longer had firmware updates. This is what I like about this router: 1. I love the fact that it can have one WiFi signal that seamlessly switches between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, whichever gives the strongest signal, with no intervention by the user on any devices. 2. I love the fact that firmware updates can be automatic. 3. I love the fact that it has built-in Safe Access that blocks malicious websites and then can send you an email telling you about it. 4. I love the fact that it has a 17 dbm stronger signal strength to stationary devices that were previously marginal with my old Linksys router. This is an EXCELLENT router that I highly recommend. 5 |

I have used routers from Netgear, Linksys, and others for years. They all seem to die after a year or so. The newer ones with more CPU usually overheat, become unreliable, and have not had predictable throughput. Eventually I buy a new router. I do not mind the upgrade, but the high-speed routers from other brands typically are twice the price. This router so far has given repeatable performance. The old router often reached 74Mbps but dipped and slowed (802.11ac PC). The Archer A73X transfers at a steady 80MB/s or more, no dips. I upgraded my other PC with a TP-Link WiFi 6E AX5400 PCIe WiFi Card (Archer TXE75E) to take advantage of 802.11ax. Although predicted for higher speeds it does reach 110MB/s reliably in my system. The only thing I find is the wireless coverage is better and worse depending upon device. I have an older tablet that is not as fond of the Archer A73X and drops connection. As mentioned, the two main PCs above are stable and reliable. Hope it doesn't die like the others. A month in, so far, so good. 5 |

Just installed in my house. As compared to the standard COX Panoramic WiFi, AT&T Arris, Linksys E4200, & Motorola NVG589 routers, this solution way outperforms anything I have ever had in my house. It even way outperforms my Linksys E6800 AC1750 Wireless Range Extender solution. All three mesh devices were configured as AP's Access Points, and hardwired ethernet to the primary AT&T U-verse Arris Router. I turned off all WiFi from the AT&T Arris Router and only used the 2.4G & 5G WiFi from the TP-Link Mesh Devices. I thought about using the DHCP routing functions from the TP-Link Mesh, but I needed a few more ethernet ports on them. I also have my AT&T Router connected to two 32-port switches which provide Hardwired Ethernet connections throughout my house. There are about 40 hardwired devices and 20 WiFi devices at this location. I try to keep most of devices hardwired due to better dependability and faster connection speed. Maybe there is a better way, but his is working very well for me now. No more WiFi no-connection and low speed issues throughout my house. From now on I will always recommend a Mesh solution. And this product is a very good solution. 5 |

I am really amazed by this WiFi... in my 2 stories house, my Asus RT AC68U was suffering so bad that the Internet signal was NULL downstairs... as soon as I connected the AmpliFi router only, I got signal everywhere including downstairs... Didn't know that the cube itself was so powerful... I connected the antennas just because they were included, but it let me think if I do really need the entire system or just the cube and 1 Mesh Point... Now the 5ghz connection was not so good between the router and the mesh point even that it was placed in the middle of the house upstairs and in an open area (living room) downstairs. BUT, the 2.4ghz provided 100% signal between them... I know that with just a little more connect and try around the house, I will find the perfect spot to place the cube and the Mesh Points. BTW: my house is 1800 sq-ft of full concrete floor and walls with 6 inches of width... it is a bunker.... really happy with the purcharse. 5 |
