For some reason, Linux is not listed as a compatible system. This device works out of the box without any issues on every Linux distro I tried it on (mainly Fedora and Ubuntu). 5 |

1. This drive is very easy to use as is---you can plug it in, download the apps, and use it that way. 2. If you're using Linux and/or don't want to download their apps, you can just connect to the device through a browser and set it up that route instead. 3. The device itself runs Linux, so if you want to tinker with it there are folks online who show you how to run Debian on it! (Just google debian on buffalo.) It's not very powerful (Arm7 with 256MB RAM) but if you want you can still use it for a bit more than just storage. I'm really happy with my purchase. 5 |

An excellent device ! It is very fast & working 100% as it's documentation saying. Moreover, I test it on my Linux laptop with Fedora Linux 32 X64 bit Cinnamon edition. It is working 100% on Linux as it is already do on Windows 10 ! I tested it on 2 laptops: one with Windows 10 & 2nd with Fedora Linux. The package reached to me by DHL in very good state. Device was very well packaged against shocks. I examined optical drive. There was no any scratching line, nor even a finger print on it. The surprising thing to me is that the accuracy of B&H store for time at which device will reach to my door in Iraq - Baghdad where I'm living !! B&H gave me 23 / 4 / 2021 as an expected date. But, DHL itself gave me more remote date of arrival at 2 / 5 / 2021. In fact I received the package at 11:03 A.M of 22 / 4 / 2021, one day before the B&H store expectation ! An excellent service by B&H store for International buyers, like me ! Thank you very much ! 5 |
