I use this to tether my camera to a computer for digital image capture. This is hands down the best tether on the market.

This was exactly what I wanted, I use the PD capture clip and wanted a way to tether my camera to my backpack to act as a safety line. I was able to tie a string to this and a carabiner so for what ever reason if I do drop my camera it won’t fall to the ground.

This new cable seems to be stronger and super fast. I am really happy with how fast I was able to tether to Capture One.

I use to tether my Nikon D850 to Capture Pro. Fast and reliable.

I wanted an extra standard plate for my second mirrorless camera body, to use with the Peak Design Capture. The plate can be left on my camera all the time since it also works as a quick release plate for my Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads. Very convenient, and it's also small and low profile, so it feels like it's not even attached to the camera.

I purchased to NiSi solar filter to capture the solar eclipse with my mirrorless camera using a telephoto lens. I read the reviews and it met all the specs I was looking for to photograph the sun safely and protecting my camera. I look forward to the next eclipse in April and will be using the NiSi filter again.

This mic is well worth the investment to capture much better audio from a DSLR or mirrorless camera. I use it for both types of camera bodies and I've been very satisfied with it as an on-board mic when capturing b-roll on the go.

Does what I need it to do. Tether my Z7II and Z6II to lightroom and capture one for mobile studio setups.

The Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus is pretty much just plug-n-play and it works great. Both Windows and Linux PCs recognized it immediately. Tried it with my Nikon DSLR and a Cannon camcorder and both were flawless. Currently using this with Cannon camcorder to stream church services during Covid-19 and giving my smartphone a break. (Note, no fault of this product, but my Linux PC didn't see the audio feed from the Magewell, so I had to plug audio into the computer's mic-in port, but Windows saw the audio feed along with the video right away.)

I'm using the Magewell HDMI Gen 2 capture device (USB3.0) 1080P to capture HDMI output from my Sony RX 10 Mark II. The Magewell is connected to a Dell Latitude E6330 with a StarTech USB 3.0 ExpressPort card running Fedora 30. On the Linux laptop, I stream over ethernet using Open Broadcast Software (OBS) to another machine running NGINX streaming server using the rtmp module.  Playing around with the frame rates, I'm only able to get about 10FPS streaming 1080P consistently. I suspect this is a limitation of the eight year old Dell and it's i5-3340M chip. Love the Magewell..totally solid. I've been running it every day for one month straight. No problems, just plug in your camera and Magewell just recognizes it. Magewell also provides rock solid, simple to use Linux software too. Kudos to Magewell!
