Instead of having batteries scattered all over your bag, this guy holds everything together in one place. You feel a nice tactile click when the batteries are seated in correctly. The bright color (yellow) makes it easy to identify in my bag and you can store batteries in any direction. You can also remove batteries with one hand. A nice trick is to store fresh batteries one way and dead ones the other. That way you won't have to play the guessing game when it matters! Great buy.
