Listen To Yeti Microphone In Through Adobe Audition

The Yeti is great. Plug and play compatibility with Audacity and Adobe Audition. I use it for amateur recording; mostly jam sessions so we can lay down multi layer tracks. The omni recording function is great for picking up multiple instruments. I'm using it Windows 7. It is a bit bulky, but for what I'm using it for that's not a problem.

I did a before and after recording using Adobe Audition. The reduction in background noise after installing this filter was profound.

We've (reluctantly out of necessity) been a CC member since Adobe switched to that business model and have the full subscription which offers Premiere Pro, After Effects, Speed Grade, Audition, Photoshop, LR... Every single app Adobe offers. PP is an awesomely powerful video editing tool used for the biggest budget films down to family movies. We use it more an more each day as we start to offer more video based services. The learning curve is medium to steep depending on what you want to do. Tutorials are everywhere for everything to do with this app. As a stand alone it's great but combined with the full subscription it seamlessly integrates with all the other (pertinent) apps (Audition & After Effects) previously mentioned. The ability to click on an audio track, have Audition open to tweak it out and then save back into the project is extremely useful and streamlines the workflow considerably. If you're not making money off this app then I guess it's just an expensive toy to show off and why bother when you can get free or much cheaper software to do the same basic editing tasks? BUT, for any serious video producer making money then it's worth it BUT there's really no reason to buy this single app when you can have access to all of Adobe Apps for just about/under 2x the annual fee?!

To start, I purchased this mic on sale. It came in the male on the expected date and had no blemishes nor was there damage to the packaging. I plugged it into my PC and recorded myself for a few trials on Adobe Audition. On playback, I could not notice any static or unwanted noise behind my voice. However, when playing times where I am not speaking at all, the faintest bit of fuzz can be heard. This is nothing noticeable unless being listened for and it is nothing that can't be fixed with a smalle adjustment of Adobe Audition's noise reduction process. My voice sounds clear and the mic does a good job of picking up every bit of intended emotion. I am genuinely pleased with what I received for the price.

Works wonderfully with adobe audition. I use this Mic for professional VO work and it sounds great. Very clean tone and easy to setup/use.

This is my second set of these headphones. I use them with Adobe Audition to edit sound for vlogging and other short videos. Very pleased

I rarely make videos, but needed to record my daughter singing audition pieces for college applications. Just dipping my toes in the murky waters of videography, I knew an external mic would be beneficial, but didnt want to spend a fortune. It fit my cameras hotshoe fine (Fujifilm T-T3) and plugs into the 2.5mm microphone port. It comes with a fluffy wind-shield, which I didnt use as I was indoors. It costs about half of Fujifilms own brand external microphone. First step was to do a quick test of the Fujis internal mic versus this one. No question that the Rode made an improvement; mostly because it isolated my daughters voice from the incessant droning of leaf-blowers in my neighborhood (aaaah, suburban paradise!). The audition videos turned out very well, so my first serious foray into video was a positive experience. I can attribute much of this to easily capturing good sound, thanks Rode.

I have been using this microphone to record audition tapes for Orchestras. I have been using a zoom H4N as a pre-amp and recording directly into garage band. The set up is not ideal but the quality of the mic is not hidden. I have been recording in a very big room, not too wet, and the mic does a good job picking up both the core of my sound and the reverberant room sound. I look forward to using it in different settings with a better pre-amp and recording software.
