Lithium Batteries In Hand Luggage

It's good to have a battery testing on hand and this one does the lithium and alkaline batteries. One thing I would note is for rechargeable batteries that have been handled a lot; it a good practice to clean terminals with isopropyl alcohol otherwise it could give inconsistent results. This is covered in the manual and in their FAQ on the website. It is not readily apparent as to why you would need to read the manual for such a straight forward device :). 5 |

I already had two of the Nikon EN-EL15c Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Batteries, but I recently purchased the Nikon MB-N11 Power Battery Pack with Vertical Grip for my Z7ii which takes two of the EN-EL15c batteries, so having a spare made sense to me. I also own several EN-EL15 batteries for my D850 and have experience zero problems with Nikon batteries. 5 |

Like the ability to change 2 batteries at the same time and keep them together. Thinking about getting another for my other two Lithium Ion batteries. 5 |

I love the compact size of the charger, and it seemed to charge my lithium batteries quicker than my last charger. 5 |

These lithium batteries are very light and last a long time. Charger works well too. 5 |

The long life AA lithium battery has many uses including in an emergency so keeping spares on-hand isn't a worry due to the 10 year shelf life. I use it in business & personal life for cameras, NOAA weather radio, flashlights, hand-held computer, emergency strobe light, laser level, to name a few. B&H always has fresh inventory 5 |

'not sure how useful my review is gonna be, as ive only just received the pelican and my judgement could still be clouded by the sense of excitement/anticipation i had while waiting for this thing to arrive (yes, excited by the prospect of receiving a plastic box with wheels, sad huh). anyway, its a perfect fit for my contax 645 body, 2 film backs, a polaroid back, light meter, plus 55, 80, 140 and 210mm (? I forget...long anyway) lenses. with room to spare for a couple of cheap little slave flashes and some batteries (though nothing else, I'm definitely at the limit). cant comment on whether it really is accepted by airlines as hand luggage as I havent been anywhere with it yet (and wont I be getting on ryan air with it, as they no longer seem to accept ANYTHING as hand luggage). everything looks well designed and sturdy, but dont quote me on that as it hasnt traveled further than a few meters across the apartment floor. the only nuisance ive found so far is that the velcro on the dividers almost works too d**n well, meaning its tricky to make adjustments to their position without them immediately attaching to one another regardless as to whether you actually wanted the thing stuck there or not. However, I dare say that I would find poor quality velcro which easily came un-stuck - sending one lens into collision with another - considerably more irritating, so I'll shut up. i feel i should point out that its not really all that lightwieght even when empty, but now that most airlines seem to have done away with carry-on weight-limits in favor of a size-limit this probably isnt such an issue. anyway, all in all very happy i bought it. but ask me again in a year... 5 |
