Finally a battery tester that will read NIMH batteries, along with Alkaline, Lithium and 9Volt. The pulse load gives a more accurate reading of what battery to use in a portable flash unit. Very easy to use and packs in easily when in the field. 5 |

This multi battery tester is expensive but is very useful to triage good, not so good and bad batteries by their actual capacity. It still works after 3 1/2 years, The only complain it drains AA batteries within 2-3 months, so I eventually started to remove batteries and inserting them only before testing (the batteries must be fresh to avoid misleading results). 5 |

Finally a battery tester that is not merely a voltage test, but gives accurate readings of the battery;s remaining capacity. It is so small it takes very little space which is nice for field work. The case (sold optionally) protects the tester very well. For serious photographers this is what is called a no-brainer. 5 |

This excellent tester gives a reliable indication of the remaining capacity of many common battery types. Easy to use and convenient size. It is best to take 2-3 repeated readings to be sure of a reliable result. 5 |
