I received a nice Nikkormat EL with a lithium battery installed, but was concerned that the meter was inaccurate and the battery check did not light. After doing a little research I found that this 544 Alkaline battery was one of the two types of batteries that this camera was designed for. B&H had it readily available, so I took a chance and found that everything works correctly now. The meter is well within range of my handheld Sekonic, the battery check now works, and all is good. So if you own an older camera that needs 6 Volt power, this may very well make your camera work like new. 5 |

It's good to have a battery testing on hand and this one does the lithium and alkaline batteries. One thing I would note is for rechargeable batteries that have been handled a lot; it a good practice to clean terminals with isopropyl alcohol otherwise it could give inconsistent results. This is covered in the manual and in their FAQ on the website. It is not readily apparent as to why you would need to read the manual for such a straight forward device :). 5 |

I was looking for a case to carry and keep dry expensive lithium battery on an electric scooter, none of the other manufacturers have the size or the strenght needed for my project. HPRC have the best hard case i ever came across so far. and as a plus, the groove on the front and back have made my custom rack construction very easy.
