Hi Folks. Yeah I know they are Lithium Ion. However, they hold a charge for a very long time and will take a ton of pictures too. My wife uses the small ones pictured above and I use the big ones. We both shot Canon. I have never had one get even a little warm on me. Regards to all, OldeBear 5 |

The Watson Lithium-Ion Battery is definitely a great choice for those who's original GoPro battery is just not cutting it! I bought this battery to replace the worn out battery that came with my GoPro Hero 3. The original battery was to the point I was lucky to get 2 hours at most, even without the screen attached. With this new battery, I was able to complete an entire overnight Timelapse, note that's without the screen, but even with the screen on it's still a lot better! I would 10/10 recommend this. I purchased the 3400 mAh Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for my LEDlenser ML6 Lantern so that I would have a spare. The lantern comes with a stock 3000 mAh OEM battery. Using a battery analyzer made for testing of Lithium Ion 18650 batteries, I placed both batteries side by side. I ran four tests that Charged/Discharged and Charged again. I wanted to both exercise the new batteries, as well as compare their performance 3000 mAh vs 3400 mAh. Surprisingly the 3000 mAh battery out performed the 3400 mAh battery by a great deal. This was disappointing to have purchased a top notch battery so I would have extra capacity for my ML6 Lantern. Perhaps the company should question their supplier.
