Little Pops In Studio Monitors

Silky smooth focus finder, brilliant colour that pops off the image. Little discernible distortion at the edges. That said, it's brick heavy. Get a solid tripod, and work out those forearm muscles.

Coming from Paul C Buff (6 Einsteins in studio), and sorely disappointed that they didn't bring HSS sooner as I shoot lots of outdoor sports, I now have 4 of these AD600 Pro lights. Don't worry about the battery capacity, I've gone 700-1200 pops at various levels. Batts are simple and easy to change. Also very light to carry multiple batteries. OK, KNOW THIS... if you don't know. You can only shoot HSS on full power for 50 shots before the unit needs to cool down. I feel like this is not a Godox thing, but a thing of HSS. Lots of multiple pops to get the HSS. I've tested the included reflector and didn't get much light out of it. Just saying. It works better as a cover. The remote is robust and once you get it, it's easy to use. That brings me to the missing component. You can't wake and sleep the lights from the remote (as near as I can tell). I have 4 PCB Einsteins in the ceiling of my studio and climbing up a ladder or using a might work electrical switch to turn on the lights isn't an option. I would switch over completely to Godox if they had this feature. Got any questions let me know.

I have used these Godox 600's in my commercial photography studio for many years now. 100k+ pops on each of my 4 heads , knock wood- but still haven't replaced a single tube , consistently using battery option as it frees up the shooting space from cords and those have also held up very well, still holding charge and delivering great refresh rates , I also have the the optional Ac packs as add on, a must for long days with no worries, high speed sync and second curtain works great, convenient grouping and channel selection. now When you go hard on them they will need to cool down a bit at times but thaT goes for any mono head really, so its not a short fall for my use usually. that classic bowens mount accepts every mod style you would ever need , accepts umbrellas, the internal receivers with sweet camera specific XproII transmitter and your ready to take on any project! highly recommended

I already was using some of these for monitors in my studio, but I find them really useful for miscellaneous use such as a table for a laptop.
