[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a recent trip to Switzerland. I packed my camera, lenses, tripod, bunch of clothes, toiletries, laptop, iPad, bunch of other electronics. It has so much room and pockets that even 1 month of using it and I keep discovering new zippers and hidden pockets lol. It's extremely well built, protected all my stuff in rain and is very comfortable to wear for long hikes. My only complaint is even without anything in it it does weight a bit. I assume this is an acceptable trade off for the really good quality of the construction itself. 5 |

I bought this lens from B&H specifically for a recent trip to Switzerland. I wanted to travel with one lens on my Sony A6600 to keep things simple. At first, I was kind of iffy about this lens, it took a little while to get used to it and it does need more light than I expected to perform well. But after getting used to it, I simply love it. It works great for landscapes, wildlife, street photography, and more. It even works well for bats at night. The reach on this lens is amazing, take a look at the wide shot of the church at 18mm the close-up of the steeple is at 300mm 5 |
