Works great. I have it attached to my tripod to act as a live view and review for clients. I power it with a usb power bank which can go all day. No need for expensive sony batteries. I use a dummy usb. I use it for stills not video. Really helps when styling an image in real time with out taking a shot, review, repeat. Clients really like it as opposed to working with a cumbersome laptop set up.

I used it for recording live singer/guitar player and got great off axis rejection...especially when using the figure 8 pattern....Sounds really good so far!

I purchased this microphone to use on a guitar for live sound. Works great for live and recording. It's quick and easy. It has a warm and natural sound. I would purchase another if needed. As with all AT mics I've owned, great quality and value for the price.

I plugged it into my Shute SM58 microphone and recorded some live guitar playing. It worked great on my Canon 7D.

Been wanting to buy these forever and I finally did it. They live up to all expectations i had. Love the attention detail like little guitar riff sounds when you turn them on and off

I bought to of these to run as a stereo pair for guitar amplifiers in a live environment. They are terrific! They handle whatever two 100 watt amps can throw at them and do not color the sound in any sort of negative manner. They definitely let the amps tone shine right through. I went from two classic Sm57s to these and I just notice more clarity and detail than I did with the 57s. Mic placement is a breeze. I spent all of 5 minutes with a pre-recorded loop figuring out the most natural sound and its very easy to find the large sweetspot with these mics. Again, the 57 does not have a huge sweet spot.

We use this for live streaming with two studio mics and sometimes guitar and mic. Having the meter is great. Sound quality is awesome. Nice to be able to use a mix of Analog and Digital together.

Amazing design and implementation. I use it with my laptop guitar amp software for live performance. I compared the sound of PW50 with Yamaha HS80 studio monitors - sure you never get same clarity and fidelity but I could come up close enough in terms of frequency response, except for boominess around 300Hz. I'd be much happier if the low eq frequency was set lower and hi eq shelf was set higher - that would give better coloration options. I'd guess the speaker is not meant for general audio reproduction, (though it does a great job here too!) where it shines - is live sound reinforcement for small to mid size venues. The sound is reach and clear. The PW50 can be crazy loud while retaining good quality. The mixing options on the back are just brilliant. Size is great and comfy, materials are fine and manufacturing is very good. The low end - sure you won't get that chest thrust, but there is enough bass for sure even for a general bass guitar duties in case you need it for practice. Thanks B&H for great price and delivery to Canada!

I live in the lightning capital of the world, Florida. I have my PC, guitar amp and effects pedals all plugged in to the Furman PST-8. I have piece of mind knowing that if my apartment building was hit by lightning (which it has been before), my equipment will be protected. Highly recommended to protect your investments!

I purchased this as another option for capturing live guitar + vocals in intimate environments. Both the standard H6 X-Y mic and this sound great but in different ways and I now quite prefer the sound of this because 1) it creates a more intimate/present focus of the vocal and guitar, 2) you have better control of voc/guitar balance by judicious aiming of the mic, and 3) you can determine the mix of mid/side and therefore stereo spread in post production (like any mic/side mic). In contrast, I find the X-Y mic pleasant but the stereo field is a bit more disperse. Pleasant, but not the same as how the real world sounds if you're 6 feet in front of a performer.
