Live Mix In Ear Monitor Boxes

These things are so much better than the noise cancelling earbuds the sound guy was using to monitor the mix for live stream in a church!

These are not standard headphones or ear buds. They are professional headphones for monitor live stream audio, etc. and do a great job. The audio quality is excellent! My only wish is that they were a little more comfortable for wearing for extended periods of time. I have a large head, so that may be the issue.

I use these for in ear monitoring on stage with a band. They function perfectly, not only for carrying my mix, but I find the noise-canceling suffecient to block cut just the right amount of stage noise.

Now that my whole family is working at home with me, I've had to mix in headphones more than I'd prefer. I've never had to be dependent on headphones for a mix the way I am now, and so was previously mixing on Sony 7506 headphones. As DJ headphones, the Sony's are great, but for mixing, it was frustrating to say the least! Getting these room some adjustment at first, reminding my brain what flat sound should sound like in headphones. Once I got used to them, I was able to trust them and use my instincts in my mixes in the same way as my near field monitors. Previous reviews praised how comfortable they are, and they ain't lying! I can wear these for hours and don't get all sweaty, or feel that pinch pain in the upper ear. I was also surprised in the low end response. At first, it seemed boomy, especially previously mixing on the Sony's. As my ears adjusted, I was really impressed with the low end clarity and how true they were. I mix a lot of boom bap style hip hop and electronic music with heavy low end, and these thing reproduce that sub sound nicely. Someone mentioned the mid range on these isn't quite as punchy. That's true, but you learn to adjust quickly, and without ear fatigue, you can get a feel for them quick. I was happily surprised to see extra cables and replacement pads! It might have said they come with those things in the description, but I didn't see it. So I was stoked when I saw that stuff in the package. While the price point is kind of up there, having used them for a while now, and realizing how they allow me to mix so efficiently, I feel it's worth it.

I am splitting a tracks and click between an in-ear headphone mix and FOH mixer. This DI is perfect to hook a phone, iPod or tablet to split Left and Right signals. It also is very quiet and add no hum or buzz to the mix.

Archival and functional! These storage boxes are great for presentations too! I can't live without them.

Couldn't do my job without these. My church is small enough that we can't supply 2 sound guys (or 2 sound boards!) to mix the live sound on location and have the live stream mixed from a second, sound-isolated room. These are not inexpensive, but provide a much more cost effective option. I can mix the live sound in the sanctuary and then pop these on and mix for the live stream without sound bleeding thru from the live environment and coloring the mix. Fantastic isolation and super comfortable. Based on an aviation headset, so the gel pads are easily replaceable should they ever be damaged (as one reviewer complained).

This is exactly what I need to mix a multi-keyboard rig for live performance. It's the right size, right price, with transparent sound. I got it at the wrong time to give it a real workout; we've only had a few gigs during the pandemic (all outside). But the mixer has worked flawlessly and seems built like a tank, so I feel good about its long-term reliability.

We use these for patching and for vocal studio mics, anywhere where we don't want to introduce noise into a mix in the studio. We also use them in patching for our live recording rig. Where we don't use them is the Live stage. Even with the warranty and their great durability, they are too expensive to be torn up.
