Live Sound Card Wired Condenser Microphone

AT2050 is a great multi-pattern microphone at better than half the price of other brands, Audio-Techinca has a winner with this condenser mic. We needed a microphone to add ambience to our recording and live streaming and this unit does the job excellently. We had previously used a condenser mic that was almost ten times the cost of this one and we can not tell the difference in the quality of the recording. We live stream all of our house concerts and archive them as well, we had people from all over the country call and tell us how great the audio quality was and that it was one of the best concerts they had ever listened to online. A++ on this one. Thanks B&H again!

I'm a voice over actor and was previously using a usb condenser microphone for at home recording. I don't have the best sound proofing so decided to pick up a Dynamic mic and the Shure SM7B was the most recommended. It's been great as I don't have to fix as much in post with room tone and sounds coming from other rooms

I recommend this product to the ones who want to record high SPL sound sources through condenser microphone. However the quality of the sound seems a bit colored.

I have a RODE NT-1 Condenser microphone, which is a very good microphone, with a very nice sound for human voices. However, I was having to use the NT-1 in a room that is not sound proof and the NT-1 is VERY sensitive to background noises. After much research I decided to order the Shure SM7B and I am very pleased. I combined the SM7B with a FetHead inline preamp feeding into my RODECaster Pro. The signal is very clean, dramatic drop in background noise pickup, and the SM7B has a superb sound for voices. Add in the form factor on a boom arm is much less intrusive in front of the face than the NT-1 with the pop filter in place is and it makes using the SM7B much nicer when the camera is turned on. All in all a very positive purchase, would not hesitate getting a second (or third) SM7B if I needed to do a multi person web cast, or recording.

This is a really good condenser microphone regardless of price. I'm so happy with the sound and the quality of construction that I don't think I ever need to upgrade from this. I know there're better microphones out there, but you really need to pay much more to get marginal improvements over this one.

I bought the AKG C3000 primarily because I was looking for a decent condenser microphone, form a reputable manufacturer, within budget. I never expected a magnificent sound from this mic. But my expectations were surpassed considering the sound derived form the C3000. To begin with, this mic is solidly built in Vienna, Austria and looks elegant in black metallic finish. I use it with m101 preamp and the sound is clear and upfront. Given the price, it delivers a well defined sound. I am pleased!

Great microphone in good price. I usually use it for the trumpet, and it has a warm sound which is unusual for the condenser microphones in this price range. It also allow me to record little details such as articulations and dainamics.

I'm using this microphone to record my voice for audio lectures. I'm doing the recording at my desk in my office, which is why I selected a dynamic mic rather than a condenser (to reject ambient noises). The recordings sound great and very clear. I think it reproduces my voice very accurately, or at least it does so better than some less expensive lavalier condenser mics I've used in the past. For those looking to do something similar, I'm using the Zoom H5 as an audio interface running directly into my computer on USB bus power (no batteries or SD card needed). The H5 preamps are strong enough for this mic, even though it's dynamic. The results sound very good to my ear. I am very happy with this mic.
