Load Paper In Brother Printer

My problems were in getting the printer setup and printing. Specifically installing the software. I am not new to this having done IT work previously. This is obviously a new machine and that seemed to be the major problem. Plus I was hampered by slow download speeds as I have a satellite connection. First off I couldn't find this printer to load the proper software, it was the second day before I found it. I kept trying to install the software and drivers but the data was not getting to the machine, no drivers were installed. On the 4th morning I went to the support site and got a new front page which took me to the downloads for this printer. Most of this was the same methods I'd been following already but there was a difference at the end because this time all the data transferred to the machine like it was supposed to. This machine prints documents very fast and full page photos only slightly slower. The images are very sharp and clear. The photos print exactly as the original. Now that it is setup I am very pleased with this product. I think Brother specifically provided me with new software that worked. Perhaps I was among the first to try and load this software and the process had a glitch or two. So, Thanks Brother for the assistance.

Printer works as expected, simple to load with paper and ribbon. Works very well with the Mac printer driver. Prints have great color and they print pretty quickly. I have printed to it from Lightroom, Capture 1 Pro and Photoshop and had no issues.

Our second Brother printer, would not have anything else !

This paper will work well for drafting and photographs. The paper roll was well packed with instructions on how to load it to the printer.

The printer makes excellent copies. The only problem is the bottom of the printer where you load the paper. It get jammed too easily.

Brother printer needs to use brother ink. I bought another brand ink that did not work.

After years of constantly having a half ream of paper laying around until the tray ran out, I can now load a full ream at a time. Installation couldn't be simpler, literally remove a couple pieces of shipping tape, then just set the printer down on top of this tray. The printer prompts you for the paper size that is loaded into the tray, and away you go. Couldn't be happier with it.

Very pleased with my first matte prints using this paper. It's a little tricky to load in my R3000 printer, as the gap for the paper is a bit easy to miss, but patience is rewarded with the result.

We got this printer to replace a succession of $200 office printers that were forever jamming or breaking down. Those cheaply built printers just drove me crazy. They may be fine in a home but not an office. Even a small office like this runs thousands of sheets through the printers and those just don't cut it. We use $5,000 networked printers in the main office, and I didn't need something that substantial here, but I knew there must be a middle ground between those tanks and the stuff you can buy in chain office supply stores. This Epson is it. This unit was simple to set up, simple to use, produces good quality output and is fast and so far, reliable. We have high hopes for this as a workhorse printer in our office, particularly for running mixed words and pictures on pages. I also like the fact that we can load letter and legal size paper, with big trays, and switch easily. We can also hand load photo paper and the output is as good as a midrange photo printer. One think that I like is the fact that this machine is heavy and feels solid. It feels like a small office copier used to feel, back in the days when those things existed.

This is an excellent Laser Printer for the Home Office and small business. It has easy load paper tray, easy to get to ink toner cartridge, and I really like the flat bed scanner and copier for quick work for copies or scan to pdf. It can be hooked up to ethernet on home network or usb direct to computer. Great size and doesn't take up a lot of space.
