Local Encrypted Password Manager Linux

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This usb drive has encrypted security which is very useful when you have something private to save. It can be locked with password for security. However, I would be very careful as forgetting the password may lead to losing the data stored. It looks pretty too, I carry it in my keychain all the time.

I divided this into two partitions, the regular exFAT and encrypted one to use both interchangeably under Win10 and Linux. NTFS has some nusty quirks you know. exFAT is what you need to make it working everywhere.

I know there are cheaper ways to set up a local NAS, but I didn’t want to spend all my time fussing with linux configs and fighting with RAID formatting so I went with this synology drive while it was on sale. So far, its been rock solid and very easy to set up for streaming my local media and backing up my devices.

Works as described both on Windows and Linux.

Using it currently to backup my macbook pro. You need to remember to flash it for encrypted APFS, but other than that it works perfectly as intended. It's fast enough for backups, maybe a tad bit slow for large sized media transfers. For 5TB you can't find a better / safer deal. Customer service is to die for.

I love the speed of the HD. It is SSD and I use it as a backup and to store other files on it. it is an encrypted drive, so I feel my data is protected. I have the 4 terabit drive and adds a lot of capability to my laptop by increasing the storage

I use this as an encrypted drive that I keep with me wherever I travel to backup all my important data. I was getting along fine with 2 400Gb portable HDDs but now the extra run is great and although thicker 2.5 form it still is thinner and more manageable than my other 2 HDDs. I've not owned long term so reliability is still questionable.

I got the Kingston D500S 256GB Ironkey USB drive to back up my critical files, and this is by far the best encrypted drive on the market! I use both Mac and Windows, and I love how the software is built into this USB drive so I don't have to install extra apps, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the coolest things ever. Had no idea they made these encrypted usb. I am using to store my old home movies on. Now I feel secure nothing will happen to them or be erased. Totally recommend this for peace of mind. Definitely going to order more. Shipping was fast and reliable. Run go grab yours today.
