Have used Seagate for several years with no problems in NVR's for security camera recording. Highly recommend.

Have used mini cam for about a month. Impressive recording quality of my local driving. Will probably purchase a second mini camera for a rear view. Only suggestion would be that the recordings do not loop once the disk is full. When full, the recordings stop. I don't believe that the camera emits a warning that the disc is full. I would prefer that the newest recordings replace the oldest recordings. There might be a system option for the looping that I have not utilized. Over all, I would recommend the Garmin Dash Cam Mini.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite reliable. I have used it on security camera with loop recording and it has been working quite well.

I installed 3 large disks, 2 x 18 TB and 1 x 24 TB, for use 24/7 recording security camera footage. Connected via USB-C to a new computer with an Intel i7-14700 CPU. Each disk is recording 4-5 MB per second.  Disk installation was easy. No noticeable fan noise. No need or desire for any RAID setup - running as JBODs. Wanted 5 bays for future expansion. No problems or hiccups so far.

I'm using the StudioRAID in a RAID 1 configuration recording security camera videos on a Windows PC. Setup was easy. It's recording multiple cameras 24x7 so it works hard and performs well. I like that there is no power brick. My only complaint is that it is noisy. It's the hard drives, not the fan. I've noticed this with other Glyph arrays. Usually it's not a problem as they are a server room or space that is already noisy.

WiFi 6 is offering faster speeds and better security than previous generations. Unifi has been steadily releasing their lineup and the Unifi 6 Pro is near the top. Only the Unifi 6 Enterprise offers better performance. The Pro features all of the WiFi 6 goodies you want like WPA 3 encryption, upstream MiMo, and better mounting plate than the previous generation. My use case is for an put building that I wanted to extend coverage to for cameras and mobile devices when using the back yard. See the submitted photo for OpenSpeedTest results to a local NAS. The upstream Mimo numbers show an effectively maxed out gigabit ethernet connection which is a new feature for Gen 6 WiFi. The AP does get a little hot in a non-climate controlled building but a small USB fan is keeping this cool. The literature says operating Temps should be fine in this environment but it did seem too hot to me. This last part is for those unfamiliar with Ubiquiti/Unifi. Unifi is a prosumer class enterprise networking solution. If offers single pane of glass management of APs, switches, and gateways. You do need a cloud hosted controller or a local controller (Unifi Cloud Key). You also need some intermediate level knowledge of networking. But it offers a powerful set of tools such as VLANs, considerable configuration flexibility, and frequent patches and security updates. I've been using Unifi since 2018 and am very pleased with the performance and price point.

Great for amateur home and family recording studio! This transformed a local teenage live talent (and others) into a more public vocal recording artist! For home, recreational and public use - muffling background noise for voice recordings (Philips, Olympus, Sony offering MIC in). This added confidence, clarity, and the ability to self-critique in private during prep and rehearsal. Talent is now much more excited and willing to devote more time to prep result in amazing performances, more approval, more value.

I was looking to start my own home recording studio for local bands and through a lot of research, I found this neat little device. It allows for very clear and warm audio recording. I use it for recording vocals, acoustic guitars, grand piano, etc. In all of these instances, this device performs extremely well. The expander and compressor are both very nice features to have. My setup also includes the Focusrite Saffire PRO 40,Rode NT1-A mic, and Sure SM57 mic and I am able to get recordings at a very high level of quality; Almost no hissing in the recording which is very important to me. I will definitely be buying more of this product soon to add more channels.

Preserving the local music culture is easy with this recorder.  Im a fan of a several local bands who freely permit recording of their shows.  Using this with either microphone and the Zoom WSU-1 Hairy Windscreen for outdoor recordings provides a great capture.  The unit has a variety of formats to save your recording.  I typically use 48KHz/24-bit, which makes a good master for FLAC and MP3 codes.  The unit includes a free download copy of Steinbergs Wavebase 9.5 LE, which works well for editing the master track into individual tracks. The unit is easy on batteries, too.  At one location Im able to plug in to AC power, but at other locations I need to run on batteries.  The Zoom AD-17 AC Adapter is all you need for this.  I also bought the Auray RC-Z6 Remote Control, which is quite handy when the recorder is a few feet from easy hand reach.

I bought this unit to replace a cheap lav mic that I was having trouble with electrical buzzing on. I took a gamble on B&H since I knew I could return it if I still had issues! But I'm pleased to say I have no buzzing from this unit, the sound quality is great, and it's plug-and-play with my Canon M50 mk II. Definitely get the Rode Central app along with it to turn on local recording on the transmitters; I use this setup to livestream, and I can use the local recording for bumping down to a podcast after. The quality is much better than ripping from YouTube! Long story short, this unit is 100% worth the cost. After years of making do with cheaper mics, I'm glad I could afford the upgrade.
