This camera replaced my Olympus E-410 - a camera that I could not like. The E-620 is everything the E-410 was not. Fast, comfortable to use, control placement is GREAT, and that articulating LCD... WOW! There seems to be a lot of image quality improvements too. I don't seem to have to tweak the output anywhere near as much as I did with the E-410. And, of course, Olympus color! If I had to gripe about anything, it would be the absurd continuation of the xD card. Of course, I don't have to use it because it has a slot for compact flash. But, come on... xD card? If you're going to have dual slot, make the other one SD!

Mates well with my Olympus E-410. Allows the convenience of a point and shoot camera. Reduces the I am a tourist look of a camera hanging on your chest. Well made and very sturdy.

I upgraded from my first DSLR the E-410. I am loving the E-620. The menus are slightly different, so I am still finding my way around the camera, but the photo quality is excellent. I am very happy. I used it mostly for nature shots and family - including an active 1 year old. If you are considering upgrading from an earlier olympus model, I would not hesitate.

I had purchased the RRS B2-LR-II 60mm Levy-Release Clamp. I have three Manfrotto tripods with 410 Geared 3 Way Pan and Tilt heads. I decided to switch rotating systems and opted for the RRS L Brackets for my Canon 5DMkIII and 5DMkIV camera bodies. While the smaller 60mm plate worked well with the L Brackets it was a very tight fit to try and work the release lever. I could make it work by increasing the space between the QL Plate on the 410 head and the 60mm Lever Release Clamp. While adding a spacing device solved the situation of being able to more easily access the Lever Release Clamp, it added a degree of possible movement. And cost. I opted to try the 80mm bigger “brother”, and that bigger version works perfectly. Providing the ability to use the RRS L Brackets with my Manfrotto 410 tripod head. And the additional small investment was cheaper than trying to adapt the smaller 60mm Clamp to work with my Manfrotto 410 tripod head and RRS L Bracket. The RRS L Bracket is the answer in my humble opinion for the issue I was having with my other rotating bracket, camera body and remote release cord, particularly on the Canon 5DMkIV camera body, where the remote release cable port is relocated from earlier Canon 5D series camera designs. In my opinion the larger real estate of the RRS B2-LLR-II 80mm Lever-Release Clamp over the RRS B2-LR-II 60mm Lever-Release Clamp is worth the small difference in investment, adding needed space, real estate and stability. The RRS B2-LLR-II Lever-Release Clamp is the real right fit for my needs.

The 131DD arm is mounted on my 058B tripod and has a 410 head. Together this set-up makes for very precise camera positioning especially for small products/ objects as well as macro photography. The four heads mounts gives me incredible flexibility with camera angles. It is well designed and manufactured.

I needed a webcam to use for working from home. I was skeptical at first that a small webcam such as this could produce a great image but I purchased anyway. After hooking the camera up and installing the optional Logitech Camera Settings app, I was blown away at the quality and field of view this camera offered. The 1080p resolution is crystal clear, even when zooming in. The zoom and pan options in the Logitech Camera Settings app were a nice touch to allow you to zoom in on yourself or pull focus on something else in view without having to physically move the camera. One thing I was happy to see is that this camera doesn't do that weird zoom/auto-focus thing that many Logitech cameras do where the person goes completely out of focus for a few seconds while it tries to auto-focus. I have a headset that I use for my video conferencing but the camera includes a microphone, should you need one. So far, I have zero complaints on the product. Overall, I would highly recommend this webcam for it's quality and features.
