Logitech Alert App Not Showing Cameras

I put in a Request Stock Alert on several Logitech cameras towards the end of March, and held my breath. Of course received several Out of Stock emails every 2 weeks until...I got a notice this item was back in stock. Immediately put it in the cart and purchased it. The next day I looked and it was out of stock again. It arrived in a non-descript cardboard box. No fancy packaging. Works like a charm, has a very sharp picture. Definitely better than the camera on my laptop. 5 |

I have much better whole house coverage. I like the Deco app on my phone---especially the alert that I get when a new device connects. It was easy to set up and it works. 5 |

Before buying the Reconyx unit, I was a little hesitant because I had never heard of them. But they had the unit that did what I needed over the cell network. My wife and I are starting to build a home on the outskirts of town and I needed something to alert me immediately if anyone was in the area when they shouldn't be. There is no electric or wireless out there yet, so this unit seemed to fit the bill. When the package arrived, I read the documentation thoroughly (which was very easy and well written, obviously by someone who knows good English). I installed the batteries, and turned on the unit. I downloaded the app on my cellphone and choose the Reconyx cell plan which made setup completely automatic. I was thinking "this is too easy. I must have missed something". The next day, I went out and strapped the unit to a tree and chose what settings I wanted. I used the app to set everything up and then the app pushed all the settings to the unit over the cell network. Of course, I did have to confirm that we had cell service out there and we did. The Reconyx app lets you know all the stats on the unit - Cell Signal Strength, Battery capacity, SD Card space, etc. I tested the unit on site just to see what it would do. After I saved all the settings, I walked past the camera and waited to see if it would alert my phone. It did exactly what I hoped it would do. I haven't seen any wildlife on it yet (it's only been 5 days so far), but it is very reliable about notifying me immediately when anyone comes out there. When contractors are out working, I just go to the app and tell it to stop capturing motion. This keeps me from getting a bunch of unneeded pictures. I just turn it back on at night. This is a very impressive unit that does everything they say it will. The security I get in knowing my place is secure makes this unit worth every penny. I give it 5 stars. 5 |

Extremely easy to use. The app is awesome. Showing outside temperature is a nifty feature. 5 |

I never liked how the straps that came with my cameras attached. I didn't mind showing off the name of the company on the strap...but wanted something a bit more substantial and easy to attach and detach. I saw the Slide Lite online and watched the company video. It made good sense. I ordered one and within about three minutes I was sold. I ended up ordering a second one for a different camera even though, I suppose, I could easily just unsnap it from one and attach to the second. Oh well...it's worth the purchase. I love how it can be adjusted instantaneously and that you're not trying to figure out how to wind the attachment "string" through and around the keeper on the strap that comes with most cameras. It's a great product. 5 |

I have several cameras. You can change settings in your cameras right from the app. This makes everything simple. 5 |

I needed a webcam to use for working from home. I was skeptical at first that a small webcam such as this could produce a great image but I purchased anyway. After hooking the camera up and installing the optional Logitech Camera Settings app, I was blown away at the quality and field of view this camera offered. The 1080p resolution is crystal clear, even when zooming in. The zoom and pan options in the Logitech Camera Settings app were a nice touch to allow you to zoom in on yourself or pull focus on something else in view without having to physically move the camera. One thing I was happy to see is that this camera doesn't do that weird zoom/auto-focus thing that many Logitech cameras do where the person goes completely out of focus for a few seconds while it tries to auto-focus. I have a headset that I use for my video conferencing but the camera includes a microphone, should you need one. So far, I have zero complaints on the product. Overall, I would highly recommend this webcam for it's quality and features. 5 |

Logitech was doing a terrible job of supporting the Mac. It seems they have changed their ways. I don’t need 4k for what I do. These Brio 500’s are all I need. 1080p/30 is great for web production and streaming (Zoom etc.) The LogiTune Mac app (accessed from the menu bar) allows you to independently customize the zoom range for wide, medium, and closeup shots. You can also change all the image balance adjustments. I’m currently using two of these webcams (rose & black) with OBS. The webcam color is identified in the Logitech app, so I know which cam I’m adjusting. Mostly, I only need to change gain and exposure to get a great picture. Of course, with any webcam with a small sensor, good lighting is a must. I use a budget setup with two Chinese globe lanterns in front (soft light LED bulb) combined with a hair light for 3 point lighting. These are a very affordable option for HD production, Zoom streaming, or other web-based production needs. I’m very happy with them. They are better than the old iPhone 5 I used previously as a webcam. 5 |

This cam was bought to produce online webinars and initial use shows it to be excellent quality. The picture is notably sharper than a laptop in-built cam - much better quality image. And the integral mics )one each side of the lens) also produce decent sound quality, at least within what I'd class as normal range (distance) of use with a laptop. Sure, it's not studio quality, but this is a webcam after all!! The one issue I've faced with it is accessing the advanced settings in Windoze 10. Logitech's web site suggest downloading Logitech Gaming Software, but that provided something called Overwolf, which was no use whatsoever. Logitech's support people subsequently e-mailed me a link (which I have yet to install) that supposedly addresses this issue - http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/cameras/Conference%20cam/LogiCamSettings1.1.87.0.exe. On my Mac, the advanced settings were readily available via a downloaded app - Logitech Camera Settings.app. - on this page - http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/webcam-c930e-business. the changes are digitally done, but effective nonetheless, and add great functionality in selecting what the cam picks up. You are also able to disable the autofocus in this app, and thus select the focal length you want the camera to work with. Might be useful if dealing with longer perspectives - ?? Overall, so far I've found this to be a great product. 5 |
