I purchased this star filter to add some special effects when shooting lights in low light conditions. It works best on medium size lights or small lights as the effect is more subtle .I am very happy with this filter and would recommend it to anyone wanting to be more creative with their night shooting.

This is a fun way to add some colorful creative effects to your instant photography. The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter.

I am a Lensbaby user for over a year now. I just love the creative effects you can get with these lenses. I started out with the 85 and have add in this 28 mm.. With a MFD of only 2 inches you can use this for great macro shots. OR at 28 mm is is wonderful for landscapes. Step down to add soft focus or step up and at f8 and higher it will appear as any other lens.

I wanted an RGB kit to add color or effects to shots, but these also work well as additional lights. I ran them for more than 9 hours on one battery. Nice soft even light from the outer panel. Lightweight and go in about any bag...you'll find room! The app is ok, but it seems I cannot rename the device in Bluetooth so it is not always clear which light you are adjusting. The app does work great when the light is hard to get to. Must have in your kit!

These are easy to use and add amazing effects to portraits even simulate different lighting effects outdoors. Must have for outdoor photography!
