The cable I bought previously to connect my Pentax X-5 to an HDTV turned out to be an HDMI to HDMI mini cable. This would not fit the HDMI port on my camera. The HDMI mini to HDMI micro adapter solved the problem. I can now view what the camera is seeing on my 40-inch HDTV. 5 |

If you are trying to connect an Atomos to a camera the main problem I've found is that the micro HDMI end, that goes into the camera, is a bit weak and very easily bent. This cable doesn't exactly solve that problem but because the micro end is at a 90 degree angle it makes it a little harder to accidentally hit it and bend it to the point it no longer connects to the camera. The best solution would be a camera cage but I'm trying to avoid the extra bulk involved with that. 5 |
