Works like a charm as a background for Zoom Virtual Backgrounds.

Purchased this to replace an 8 year old Logitech 920. I wanted something that could add value to my video conference venue. This replacement provides a great virtual image, customized settings, and most importantly a noise canceling microphone. Worth the investment if you're a virtual professional.

First off, I highly recommend these lights! I’m a youth speaker for high school students and needed to transition to virtual presentations. These lights bring in a lot of character to my backdrop. I like how you can switch from bi-color (3200-5600) and colors. If I need more light on my face, I put one off to the side in front of me and put a diffuser in. The brightness adjusts in 1% increments which gives me more control over how I want to look on camera. Personally, I don’t like ring lights and feel these panels light your face more fully without having that weird ring in your eye. I’ve attached pictures to show how I have them light my background. I’ll let you be the judge with the pictures but I love how they make my studio look. I put these out at almost full power to give you a perspective of how bright they can be. Normally I have the blue light for the background at 40% and it’s plenty bright. I also like using one on white paper when I’m drawing or writing to make the paper pop more. Having the other two in different colors definitely gives more depth for the backdrop.  If you’re like me and have a virtual studio, I feel these lights can definitely help you give more options to how you want your background to look. They come in a very nice case with everything you need. The app is straightforward to use and allows you to control the lights from your phone which makes things much easier for me when I’m changing the look of my setup. You also can do different with the lights as well (flickering, etc) I would definitely get them again and am very happy with the way they make my virtual setup pop more. If you’re contemplating getting them, I hope this review was helpful in your decision.  Final recommendation: Don't use a fake background! Make your background how you want it. It's more real way. My two cents!

My wife and I sometimes perform online, dressing in costume and using a virtual background, but had a hard time keeping one of us (or parts of us) from disappearing when we both were on camera. Well, not any more! With this green screen behind us (making sure we tell Zoom we have one!), we are both solidly visible for the whole performance! Setup and breakdown are really easy. The stand is light, which makes it a bit flimsy, so I wouldn't want to rely upon it outdoors in more than a very light breeze, and you do have to be careful rolling it up to avoid a few wrinkles. But for the price, and for our intended use (relatively close-up indoor Zoom meetings with backgrounds), it works perfectly!

I got this for Zoom meetings. It enabled me to use the virtual background feature on Zoom without the common ghosting or weird dropouts we see when trying that feature without a green screen. I attached it to a tall tripod and propped it up behind my desk chair.

I bought this unit when I found that my wide angle Logitech model 920 portrayed too much of my background. I wanted a camera to “present” and fill the screen with my head and shoulders. The C270 was perfect for this. Automatic and immediate integration into Zoom and other on-line software. Very good quality, automatic light and focus. And VERY inexpensive.

I saw a great improvement with video editing and Virtual machine use. I generally need 2 to 3 virtual machine for my project, previously my system used to hang if I use 3 Virtual Machine at the time, after upgrading this to 32 GB, I able to use 4 virtual machines at the same time with no issues.

With virtual learning, we teachers had to become very creative. As an art teacher, having a camera that would show clarity and could record in high resolution was a must. I continue to use the Solo 8 to record drawing and painting demonstrations. I can record with audio, or without, and import into any video editing software to do voice-overs and add music. This document camera is solid, it is built very sturdy, it does not feel cheap like the two other cheaper cameras I purchased at the beginning of the pandemic that was both glitchy and compressed video causing pixelated images the students just could not see at home. The school purchased one for me and I ended up buying one for myself to record tutorials at home. Definitely, a must-have.

Love it! The Theta X 360 camera enables a minimal after-fix process where in most instances images can be used without the need to undergo any after-shoot enhancement. Given that, my workflow in producing virtual tours is now geared to linking pics that tell the virtual story pictorially. Love it!
