Logitech Gaming Headset Linux

My first impression of the Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset was the quality that went into the build. The frame is constructed of aluminum and steel, and is sturdy and lightweight. The head band is padded with a thick and comfortable foam. It comes with two types of ear coverings, leatherette and breathable velour. I changed to the velour covers and find them very comfortable. The sound is very good and is customizable once you download the Logitech G Hub software. I use these on a PC and connect via the provided USB sound card and get clear audio and voice communication. I would purchase the Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset again and recommend them as well. 5 |

Great headset from recently one of my favorite technology websites. Can find all of my gaming peripherals like Logitech keyboards and mice and everything I imagine. Headset is clear and very strong. Thinking of buying a professional microphone soon and maybe going above and beyond traditional gaming headsets 5 |

Works well with Linux Mint Mate 20 and so do all the Logitech combos since they use the same driver. 5 |

This is one of the best Headset that Logitech has created. B&H had this headset on sale and I just had to buy them. I am glad I did and I like the sound quality and the mic is very responsive. You cannot go wrong if you are a game like me. 5 |

i have four logitech mice and they all (including this model) work flawlessly with windows 7, mac os 10.4, linux mint 18 cinnamon, linux lubuntu 15.04. they worked first time evertime. i have one over 12 years old which still works like new. 5 |

I selected the C925e because it was one of the few Logitech webcams that specifically mentioned that it supported Linux, and I was not disappointed! I am running Linux Mint 21.1 and I just plugged in the Webcam and it immediately worked. Camera is crisp and sharp, microphone quality is good, and it clips to the top of my Dell monitor without a problem. 5 |

My son recommended me this headset because one can hear speak when using social connectivity software like Slack, MS Teams, Skype, etc... Since my computer runs linux, I was a bit apprehensive about how well this would work. Although it is a bit tricky to configure properly. On the other hand, the dual connection feature is really helpful to configure the headset from the mobile app so that the 2nd connection from linux' bluetooth works properly. For example, conference calls w/ Slack require turning off "Speak to Chat" and leaving on "Ambient Sound Control" to hear oneself in the headset. I was most pleasantly surprised that the headset's touchpad for music control (stop, forward, backward) works with music software on Linux -- e.g., Spotify! If only there were support for 360 reality audio on linux; this would be the perfect headset. The noise cancelling capability of this headset is fantastic. While listening to music at a moderate volume, I couldn't hear a person talking to me less than 3 feet away! I had to put my right hand to the headset to listen to ambient sounds to hear this person talk! 5 |

I use mainly for programming but some games like AoE. - screen is big, brightful and clean - processor is one of the most powerful, with 20 threads is incredible the difference to my previous i5 10th with 14 threads. Multi tasking is more accurate. - it's not a gaming laptop so to say, but has video graphic cards, so having a powerful proccesor is not a total waste if you want to play some games time to time. You can save a lot of money. - Drive is fast and lot of storage: I have windows for gaming and linux for developing. 512gb is quite enough, but if you need more you can add an extra drive. - Memmory is ddr5, 16gb is far enough to start. Maybe in some years I'll need to expand it, you know, chrome tabs :D - retro lighten keyboard is comfortable, wide and has numpad very useful - weight is not so light but not of the most highest, still easy to transport. In my case, I do home remote developing, so not need to transport every day. - ports are good, just I have to notice is you have to force unplug not so easy. I have energy, hdmi, usb and ethernet cables and when I have to move to another room is quite a hard task - battery is double long to my previous, now it longs 2hours heavy developing - sound at maximum is lower than my previous notebook, but I'm using linux maybe some drivers issues. 5 |
