Logitech Gaming Mouse Not Scrolling

Scrolling with the ring is why I like this mouse 5 |

Been using it for over a week. It has been great for FPS gaming: just the right amount of friction and my mouse (Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED) slides beautifully. The size should be enough when you set your mouse to low DPS and need to turn wide angles. 5 |

My previous mouse was also a logitech gaming mouse (MX 518) which I owned for about 10 years - finally it needed to be replaced because it kept disconnecting intermittently. It was my favorite mouse because it felt very “smooth” and easy to use. So I replaced it with this mouse because the online reviews kept saying this was pretty much the default choice for a great gaming mouse. No regrets - it feels very nice so far, and I expect I’ll get many years out of it based upon my previous experiences with Logitech gaming mice, and from what I’ve heard of other long-time owners of this mouse 5 |

I've used the Kensington Expert Mouse for years now and won't do without it. I recently bought a new iMac with the new Magic Mouse. I did like the scrolling ability of the Magic Mouse but after a week I broke down and bought another Kensington Expert Mouse. It has much more accuracy and stability than the Magic Mouse. Plus, the trackball is easier on my hands and wrist than a traditional mouse. I'm on the computer all day and do everything i can to make my day run smoother. Moving the cursor on the screen is much more intuitive to me with a trackball than with a mouse. The Kensington Expert Mouse does have both horizontal and vertical scrolling. While not as intuitive as the Magic Mouse, it still works. 5 |

The clicking on the mouse is basically silent, the mouse is really smooth. The only downside is I would wish the scrolling wheel was smoother. 5 |

I love this mouse so much. I was using a Logitech before but it was so small and narrow this is perfect. 5 |

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought the keyboard combo as a gift for somebody who had a ThinkPad and was going to need a full Numpad and they didn't have one on their model. Since this had similar key caps and came with a mouse, was wireless and had a simple USB-A dongle, it was an easy decision. The extra scrolling features on the mouse are a nice touch that allow easier navigation of documents that require scrolling in all directions. Being powered by standard batteries is also a nice plus since you can go from dead to 100% by just changing them out. 5 |

I've used many mice in the past, recently the Vertical Mouse 4 (the cable died on three different mice so I had to stop using them) and then the Handshoe mouse, which I still use and love. But I had been recommended the Wacom tablet method from people I know who use computers for post-film workflows. I use my Wacom within Pro Tools and have been loving the new feel. I certainly am not as fast as I used to be on the mouse, but I can tell that I will improve my skills with the interface soon enough to match my speed on the mouse. I love the mappable keys on the pen and the tablet which save me tons of time during sound editing. Overall I really dig the device. My biggest gripe with the device is specifically in Pro Tools (so it might be more of a pro tools issue) but scrolling horizontally is atrocious in comparison to scrolling on the mouse scroll wheel. I'm not sure why it's so bad, but it is specific to Wacom's scrolling implementation. I've found workarounds but it certainly could be better. 5 |
