Logitech Headset Problems After Firmware Update

If you are having problems with autofocus, be sure to update the firmware of the mount. All of the problems with autofocus are gone, and you don't even need to calibrate the lenses anymore.

Just remember to update the firmware.

I own about 10 of these cameras and have been using them for years with no issues. Follow the directions and update the firmware and you will have no problems. If transmission stops, it's usually because you need a firmware update which in my experience happens about once a year. Battery life is fantastic too!

After the firmware update fixed the AF it became an excellent camera. The AF is still not on par with Sony, but in most cases I don't experience any problems. The raw files are fantastic, there isn't much editing needed to get nice bright colors, and noise is very low and easy to remove. The biggest con is poor customization. I can assign buttons and dials on Sony so I never need to dive into the menu, not so with Nikon, even for common functions you need to go to menu. That is somewhat mitigated by the custom menu, which I assigned to Fn2 button.

After seeing these at WPPI in Vegas earlier this year I decided to buy a couple of them. Now we all know about the amazing $1000 battery powered strobes on the market, are these comparable to those? Unlikely from my experience but this light comes pretty close and for the small budget it is perfect for what I want. I do a lot of action sports portraits which has always been tough with budget lights because of their lack of high speed sync. This worked great for players diving and kicking. Captured everything with no issues. I did have to switch cameras because I didn’t update the firmware when I first got them and my Nikon Z7 wouldn’t fire them. After the very quick firmware update to both strobes, the trigger and also my camera everything was great. The model light on this strobe is really good and the fact the model light is daylight balanced is a nice touch. Recycle time was fantastic, I had the lights at about half power and they didn’t miss a shot. All in all, super happy with my purchase and for the cost I am not going to fall to my knees in tears if one of them gets knocked over by someone with a soccer ball on a location shoot. Because it has happened!!
