Logitech Illuminated K740 Wired Keyboard

I edit photo files under low light the illuminated keyboard is a necessity. The Logitech K740 Illuminated Keyboard has a great touch with what I feel is the optimum depth of key movement.

Best keyboard, 5 stars! This is my second Logitech K740 illuminated keyboard, my previous one lasted 12+ years of heavy-duty use. I love the back-lit keys and the smooth quiet function. I'm very glad I was able to get this same keyboard again. I love my Logitech rollerball mouse too.

The illuminated keyboard made by Logitech is better than I expected and I am enjoying it very much. It is a great tool for use by an older person like myself, and for anyone using a keyboard in low light conditions. A great product from a Great Vendor. Will consider B&H for all my future purchases. Illuminated Keyboard by Logitech is vary nicely made and the size and feel of the keys are great the key light has 3 settings so it is vary easy on the eyes in darkness and with the softweare it is seamless working with your system.

For years, I have been looking for a well made illuminated keyboard. Logitech seems to fit the bill well with this model. It has a fine touch and makes prolonged typing and data input much easier. Enjoy, enjoy.

This is my third Logitech illuminated keyboard so you know I like these. I use these for both general computer usage and for printing in a dark or lowly lit room.

I chose the K845 mechanical with brown switches because I wanted an illuminated mechanical keyboard that wasn't overly loud and clicky. The switches are relatively quiet but produce a satisfying click, one that I desired over a mushy key. The illuminated keys are excellent as I prefer a lower light environment to work in. The keys are set up high off the board itself allowing anything that may fall onto the keyboard to simply slide off and not get lodged. The K845 is a wired system which I bought specifically. I don't wish to spend additional money just to have to replace batteries or worry about charging a keyboard. The wired connection works for me and I don't need anything else. For the price, I don't think there is a better mechanical keyboard.

After having a multitude of issues with buggy KVM software and other solutions (I'm looking at you Synergy), I decided to bite the bullet and get this keyboard and the M70 Logitech Mouse to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to setup and how quickly I was able to control both my Mac and my PC by seamless ctrl+dragging the mouse in the direction I had setup the switch from systems to happen. In a half a second I am on my Mac doing what I need to do and in another on my Windows system. Very much recommended to anyone looking to do something like that, it can do up to 3 computers!. The keys feel amazingly good and I say that as someone who types 9+ hours a day and its coming from a wired mechanical keyboard, the back-lit keys are not going to be wired quality light but get the job done for dim environment. Props to Logitech for USB Type C charging (its 2020, get the memo every other company) and the Logitech options software offers deep customizing of absolutely everything. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid keyboard with some extras like Logitech Flow.

The Logitech "Wired Keyboard for iPad" is an excellent device. As long as your iPad has a lighting connector all you have to do is plug it in and it, just works like a charm. Have used it with both my basic iPad 6th and 9th generation models.
