Logitech Ip Camera Default Password

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now.

We are a developer of command and control software and often buy various brands of IP cameras to test with our software suite. This camera was an addition late last year and we've actually deployed it on our property (mostly for testing). We cannot say enough about Axis products... this camera works as advertised and was easily integrated into our software. It is ONVIF compliant and provides crystal clear video. We are located in Florida and rarely use the defogging feature, but we would love to have self cleaning optics (a feature starting to appear on high end IP cameras) since the camera is located nearly 30 feet in the air making it difficult to clean... but that is the only thing we had in the wish it had it column. Overall a highly versatile and functional PTZ IP camera... we highly recommend this one!

This camera was purchased as a replacement of a defective IP camera. It worked immediately and provided an outstanding picture.

This camera is TINY. Most reviewers here know the GoPro camera, but not me... regardless, here are my first impressions: Yes, the manual leaves much to be desired, but so what. When you turn it on, by default it's ready to shoot video, perhaps takes 10 seconds, but power on, then press the ok button and it's recording. Did I mention how tiny it is? LOL. For a 60 year old with failing vision, get the magnifying glass out. When shooting video, it records by default a video that resembles a fishbowl rather than a truer reflection of what you are recording. So what, I love Salvidor Dali's surrealism anyway. Crisp videos, crisp photos at high res. That's a thumbs up in my book. Nice cam!

This kit worked perfectly with POE NVR and 2MP IP camera over 30 feet of existing coax. There needs to be 3 x 2 x 1 inch of space for this device on transmit side plus enough extra space to add rigid BNC connector to coax, but possible in 4 x 4 double gang box. The receiver mounts on 35mm DIN rail but the spring clamp wasn't strong enough to prevent slipping.

We have purchased two of these so far to use primarily as NVRs for a large number of IP cameras on a school campus. Licensing costs aside, Synology Surveillance Station does a really nice job making it easy to set up and scale with the number of cameras you have. We linked two together, making one the primary and the other a secondary target for recordings. Surveillance Station records direct-to-disk, and does a decent job of adjusting camera settings directly using ONVIF. We have about 50+ cameras running at resolutions from 1280x720 up to 2560x1600, some PTZ, some ceiling-mount fisheyes, mostly wide angle fixed, and everything works pretty well. We were even able to use the manual camera configuration to use some uncommon double-lens cameras. With about 26 cameras assigned to each RS422+, we see about 20-25% CPU on each on average during a typical day. We can comfortably handle 32 per unit, and supposedly up to 40 if needed. With x4 6TB drives in each set in SHR-1 (equivalent to RAID5) we have about a month or so of footage retention. The licensing is a little pricey at $50 per camera (unless you buy in bulk from some european IP camera shops...), but it is perpetual and I think worth the expense. Using two of these units, 8 cheap drives from eBay (luckily these do not suffer from the Synology whitelist) and a bunch of camera licenses, for around under $5000 I was able to build and set up a really easy to use and reliable NVR system with plenty of future expandability. 2-3 users are regularly connected on their desktops without issue.
