Logitech Ipad Keyboard Case Shortcuts

This is the 2nd Logitech case like this that I’ve purchased for iPad, and I don’t regret either purchase. The keyboard connects to the iPad/iPad Pro via the contacts built in to the iPad so I no longer have to worry about making sure that a Bluetooth keyboard is charged in addition to the iPad. I don’t often need to use the built in track pad, but it is nice to have sometimes. It isn’t the easiest to use on a soft surface (lap, etc). It is definitely designed to be used in a desk, but the adjustable tilt angle makes it very comfortable to use on any hard surface that I’ve tried. If/when I buy a new iPad I plan to get a similar keyboard and case combo! 5 |

I have had my Logitech Slim Combo case for my iPad Pro 10.5” since early November. I absolutely love it! I just wish there was a way to keep the keyboard on it full time without taking it off. However, it’s a lot more protected than with the Apple keyboard that does not cover my whole iPad. Two questions I had to ask myself before purchasing my keyboard case: What’s the point in purchasing a keyboard that doesn’t double as a protective case? After reading massive reviews there were problems in blue tooth connections. Why buy an expensive case that doesn’t use power directly from the iPad connection? I’m going to have this for a very long time why start out with problems? 5 |

I couldn't be happier with this logitech case that I bought for my brand new ninth generation iPad. I've been using a MacBook Air for over eight years (still runs great!), but wanted an iPad because it's even smaller and lighter and more fun to use. When I do need a keyboard with it, however, this keyboard case emulates the keyboard on my MacBook Air perfectly, especially with the built-in trackpad. It just works great. Couldn't be more pleased. 5 |

Not only does this keyboard look great, but it works as advertised. This keyboard has a well though out design, the brushed black metal case is clean and neat, with effective (and adjustable) keyboard illumination which is bright enough to use in a well lighted room but dimmable (in 5 steps) so that it is not blinding in darkness. The keys are silent in operation (as long as you don't hammer them!) and have a fairly soft and short stroke with a definite snap as they activate. The case itself is slanted just enough to be comfortable for most people, but the slant angle is not adjustable. However i don't think this will be a great concern for most people. As for the keys, the various Resolve Studio shortcuts are colour coded into the various function groups they belong to. Some keys support multiple functions, so there are little coloured dots adjacent to each key legend that identifies the appropriate key (Shift, CTRL, ALT) to be used in conjunction with the desired action key. Note that all the various key combinations are listed in various online sources and are the standard keyboard shortcuts for Resolve Studio. So, indeed, one could simply memorize these keyboard shortcuts and not need to use this keyboard, but having the keyboard in front of you eliminates the need for rote memorization and lets you select the correct key sequences quickly with less chance of error. Admittedly, using a shortcut keyboard does take some time to get used to, but once you do, it makes editing much easier with less interruption to your mental workflow. So, for me anyway, this keyboard is well worth the slight investment in time and money. Oh, I almost forgot - this is also a very nice keyboard for general text entry and typing. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing this in comparison to the Apple Magic Keyboard which I already had. I like that case protects the corners and you don’t have to take it out of the main casing to use the iPad without the keyboard. The keyboard easy detaches. The main negative to the Apple keyboard is you have to have the kickstand out to use it like a laptop which is harder to do if you have it on your lap vs a table top. The Apple one uses tension. However, the Apple one cannot go 360 degrees like the Logitech can. Both feel equal quality and keyboards are comfortable. I would say, if you want versatility and durability, then the Logitech wins out. If you are looking to use the iPad as more of a laptop, then the Apple magic keyboard takes it. 5 |

I returned the Logitech Combo Touch in favor of the Apple Magic keyboard. I love using the iPad Caseless which this gives me the ability to do. I prefer typing on the Logitech but when the keyboard is detached, I find it too heavy to use one handed. 5 |

This keyboard works well with my iPad 9th Generation, and the backlit keyboard really makes the keys on the keyboard easy to see in a dark or lighter room. Just be aware that if you lift up the iPad (to carry it somewhere, for instance) and don't hold onto the Logitech keyboard, it will fall down. So Make sure you close up the Logitech keyboard onto the iPad if you move it! 5 |
