Logitech Ipad Pro Keyboard Pairing

2024-06-23 02:42:37

I had a 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 and used the Logitech keyboard folio, which I really liked. I just bought a 6th gen iPad Pro 12.9 and alas, the keyboard portfolio is not compatible. The bigger keyboard/cover form factor just doesn’t work. I ended up buying the Apple keyboard/folio and it’s a piece of junk. Please make a Logitech keyboard folio available for the 6th gen Pro 12.9

This is my second Logitech keyboard. I loved my first one and it was a workhorse for many years. Recently purchased a different model then first one. It stopped pairing with my one device ( iPad Pro) quite quickly. After much tech contact they finally sent me a replacement and it works beautifully! I would buy again

This is simply the best keyboard for an iPad Pro.

I really like it so far. It had trouble pairing at first but I think that was more my iPad than the actual keyboard case. The keys are a good size for my fingers and feel nice, I like that the two stand slots are magnetic, and that I can still charge my Apple Pencil when it’s connected to the case. Also, I bought the wrong size case at first and the return/exchange went very smoothly!

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Good Luck! & Cheers! M.

I haven’t used it yet but am looking forward to it. My iPad Pro barely fits with the Logitech folio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing this in comparison to the Apple Magic Keyboard which I already had. I like that case protects the corners and you don’t have to take it out of the main casing to use the iPad without the keyboard. The keyboard easy detaches. The main negative to the Apple keyboard is you have to have the kickstand out to use it like a laptop which is harder to do if you have it on your lap vs a table top. The Apple one uses tension. However, the Apple one cannot go 360 degrees like the Logitech can. Both feel equal quality and keyboards are comfortable. I would say, if you want versatility and durability, then the Logitech wins out. If you are looking to use the iPad as more of a laptop, then the Apple magic keyboard takes it.

This is the 2nd Logitech case like this that I’ve purchased for iPad, and I don’t regret either purchase. The keyboard connects to the iPad/iPad Pro via the contacts built in to the iPad so I no longer have to worry about making sure that a Bluetooth keyboard is charged in addition to the iPad. I don’t often need to use the built in track pad, but it is nice to have sometimes. It isn’t the easiest to use on a soft surface (lap, etc). It is definitely designed to be used in a desk, but the adjustable tilt angle makes it very comfortable to use on any hard surface that I’ve tried. If/when I buy a new iPad I plan to get a similar keyboard and case combo!

I have had my Logitech Slim Combo case for my iPad Pro 10.5” since early November. I absolutely love it! I just wish there was a way to keep the keyboard on it full time without taking it off. However, it’s a lot more protected than with the Apple keyboard that does not cover my whole iPad. Two questions I had to ask myself before purchasing my keyboard case: What’s the point in purchasing a keyboard that doesn’t double as a protective case? After reading massive reviews there were problems in blue tooth connections. Why buy an expensive case that doesn’t use power directly from the iPad connection? I’m going to have this for a very long time why start out with problems?
