Logitech Keyboard For Ipad 5Th Generation

I bought this keyboard for my daughter’s 5th generation iPad. Other retailers offered similar keyboards, but at much higher prices. This keyboard was affordable, has a place to secure a stylus/Apple Pencil, and was delivered next day. I couldn’t be happier!

This keyboard works well with my iPad 9th Generation, and the backlit keyboard really makes the keys on the keyboard easy to see in a dark or lighter room. Just be aware that if you lift up the iPad (to carry it somewhere, for instance) and don't hold onto the Logitech keyboard, it will fall down. So Make sure you close up the Logitech keyboard onto the iPad if you move it!

This is my third iPad. My 3rd generation iPad Mini is a digital clock and my 5th generation iPad Mini is still working well. Of course, I would recommend any iPad. I bought this to replace the 5 1/2 year old Smart Keyboard for my 3rd generation iPad Pro. I used the old keyboard extensively with the iPad, eventually wearing it out. Given how much I enjoyed using the old keyboard and how long it lasted, it was an easy decision to replace it with essentially the same device. The only difference between the old and new keyboard is the size of the back camera opening, which is larger on this newer version. I also prefer this keyboard over Apple's Magic Keyboard because I can fold it back behind the iPad for reading a book, which the Magic Keyboard doesn't do.

I considered the Apple Keyboard's for my new iPad Air 4th generation. I have had both brands before for earlier iPad's. This Logitech keyboard is in the same league as the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio (similar configuration), but has three very important features that are lacking on the Apple keyboard. 1. Backlit keys. 2. Top row of short-cut function keys. 3. Trackpad. So, for less money, you can have a keyboard with much more functionality.

The Logitech Combo Touch for the basic iPad 7th, 8th, and 9th generation is an outstanding (A+) device. Just download the application and receive software updates for iPad OS shortcut keys. Plus it truly works well in all models to type, to sketch, to read, and to view video content.

Bought this for my 8th generation ipad. Fits perfect on ipad no issue with any buttons being used or attachments, also good protection for ipad rubber like cover. Be careful as keyboard attaches magnetically so do not pick up from keyboard when attached. Keyboard works good easy setup 1,2,3. Keyboards backlit accessed through keys on keyboard this has changed since update, still install Logitech app but only used for updates all functions on keyboard. All in all great accessory for ipad if your in need of a keyboard and case in one.

This was the only protective case that fits the new iPad 10th generation! I didn’t think I’d like that removable keyboard, but it comes in handy. My child must take a device to school everyday and this case gives me peace of mind!
