Logitech Meetup Camera App

I needed a webcam to use for working from home. I was skeptical at first that a small webcam such as this could produce a great image but I purchased anyway. After hooking the camera up and installing the optional Logitech Camera Settings app, I was blown away at the quality and field of view this camera offered. The 1080p resolution is crystal clear, even when zooming in. The zoom and pan options in the Logitech Camera Settings app were a nice touch to allow you to zoom in on yourself or pull focus on something else in view without having to physically move the camera. One thing I was happy to see is that this camera doesn't do that weird zoom/auto-focus thing that many Logitech cameras do where the person goes completely out of focus for a few seconds while it tries to auto-focus. I have a headset that I use for my video conferencing but the camera includes a microphone, should you need one. So far, I have zero complaints on the product. Overall, I would highly recommend this webcam for it's quality and features. 5 |

Logitech was doing a terrible job of supporting the Mac. It seems they have changed their ways. I don’t need 4k for what I do. These Brio 500’s are all I need. 1080p/30 is great for web production and streaming (Zoom etc.) The LogiTune Mac app (accessed from the menu bar) allows you to independently customize the zoom range for wide, medium, and closeup shots. You can also change all the image balance adjustments. I’m currently using two of these webcams (rose & black) with OBS. The webcam color is identified in the Logitech app, so I know which cam I’m adjusting. Mostly, I only need to change gain and exposure to get a great picture. Of course, with any webcam with a small sensor, good lighting is a must. I use a budget setup with two Chinese globe lanterns in front (soft light LED bulb) combined with a hair light for 3 point lighting. These are a very affordable option for HD production, Zoom streaming, or other web-based production needs. I’m very happy with them. They are better than the old iPhone 5 I used previously as a webcam. 5 |

This cam was bought to produce online webinars and initial use shows it to be excellent quality. The picture is notably sharper than a laptop in-built cam - much better quality image. And the integral mics )one each side of the lens) also produce decent sound quality, at least within what I'd class as normal range (distance) of use with a laptop. Sure, it's not studio quality, but this is a webcam after all!! The one issue I've faced with it is accessing the advanced settings in Windoze 10. Logitech's web site suggest downloading Logitech Gaming Software, but that provided something called Overwolf, which was no use whatsoever. Logitech's support people subsequently e-mailed me a link (which I have yet to install) that supposedly addresses this issue - http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/cameras/Conference%20cam/LogiCamSettings1.1.87.0.exe. On my Mac, the advanced settings were readily available via a downloaded app - Logitech Camera Settings.app. - on this page - http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/webcam-c930e-business. the changes are digitally done, but effective nonetheless, and add great functionality in selecting what the cam picks up. You are also able to disable the autofocus in this app, and thus select the focal length you want the camera to work with. Might be useful if dealing with longer perspectives - ?? Overall, so far I've found this to be a great product. 5 |

This is my first tripod, ever. I bought it so I could go on a Meetup to photograph the Supermoon and not be laughed out of the park. I obsessed for over a year about what to buy - I knew I would want a tripod eventually, although I wasn't sure exactly for what - and became frustrated by all the options out there, expensive or otherwise. I finally came across one in-depth review that targeted inspired amateurs and enthusiasts, and not professionals requiring tripods in the $thousands. I've only used it twice so far, but the first time I took it out, I required zero instructions to operate it. It's very intuitive to use. Of course, any tripod is better than none, but I appreciated the steadiness and relative lack of bulk, and of course, the end result (amazing test shots of my cats in poor indoor light). It was a little awkward to carry while biking a few miles in the dark and wearing a backpack too, and I probably looked silly, but oh well. My moon shots - well it was densely cloudy so the moon shots were a bust, but it was fun to compare my tripod to others (mine was probably somewhere in the middle, as far as weight, size, and price go) and to play around with long exposures. And the experience made me want to hike around some more with the tripod, rather than discouraging me. And so although this review is more about my experience, and not the technicalities of the equipment, if at least one tentative person goes out and tries the 263AB SBH 100 tripod as a result of reading this, then I'll be one happy gal. 5 |

I purchased this ND Filter for a sunrise meetup on the beach. I was able to get a long enough exposure to create a soft image of the ocean with the coral formations in the foreground. B+W always put out great filters, and I do not shoot any other. 5 |

Addition to our MeetUp conference cam. Only need it when there are more than 6 people in our small conference room, otherwise the mic on the MeetUp works sufficiently. 5 |

I love the MeetUp and use it on all my projects for video conferencing. I was bummed when one of the remotes broke (someone stepped on it), but being able to replace it quickly and at a reasonable price, we never missed a step. Setup was a breeze, and it works like a charm. 5 |

The expansion mic for Meetup with the extension cord, has made for a significant improvement in the sound quality folks receive from our hybrid zoom meetings in a 30 foot x octagonal meeting room. 5 |
