Logitech Ptz Pro 2 Camera Driver

Works well with Linux Mint Mate 20 and so do all the Logitech combos since they use the same driver.

I bought the PTZ Pro 2 to replace a Jabra Panacast 50 combination audio/video bar. Because the Jabra's audio capabilities weren't robust enough for the rooms we were using them in, we had replaced the audio portion with Shure Stem Hub tabletop mic/speaker units, which are far superior to the Jabra and scalable. So we were using the Panacast only as a camera. It worked well enough for that, but the Bluetooth remote kept disconnecting in the middle of meetings leaving us unable to control the camera. What I like about the PTZ Pro 2 is that: 1) The remote is infrared so it doesn't randomly disconnect. It does require line-of-sight but that's not a big deal. At least it works very reliably. 2) The PTZ Pro 2 is plug-and-play so there's no opportunity for things to break due to Windows updates or driver updates. You just plug it in and it works. 3) The pan/tilt/zoom is quite smooth. The Jabra was very jerky due to the way it knits together the images from three cameras. Also the optical zoom of the PTZ Pro 2 is excellent. 4) The three presets are very handy and the way the camera smoothly transitions from one preset to another gives a very professional look.

I just purchased this PTZ camera with a pro nvr as an upgrade to older Lorex system and so far it has surpassed what I thought it would be.

This suits the PTZ Optics camera.

This panel as well as the other panels from Logitech (which I also purchased) functions as advertised once you download and install the correct driver(s) from Logitech.com. I use them on flight simulator X and X-Plane.

I love the improved camera quality of the Logitech BRIO Ultra HD Pro Webcam. I take most of my zoom calls using my Macbook Pro camera and this is a massive improvement. I attached a photo from each so you can see the difference. I know it's a bit expensive, but I think its worth it for camera quality. Highly recommend!

I replaced an old iMac with a Mac Pro and now have a BenQ screen without a camera. I didn't know how bad the iMac camera was until I used this Logitech Webcam. My color and exposure are perfect. I no longer look overexposed or red :) The sound must be good too since no one on Zoom calls is complaining about not hearing me.

Very simple to use and the Video is incredible! I am very pleased with the Logitech Video Camera. I use it with my MacBook Pro. I am very happy that I made this choice from B&H.
