Logitech Speakers Subwoofer Sounds Dull

I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again.

I will be honest I truly have no idea how this surround sound is supposed to sound to me. This is my first surround sound system I have ever owned and so I have nothing to compare it to. I do have to say I dont know how I feel about the center channel out cable that makes the voices come out of the tv speakers so it sounds more directly in front of me. I kind of feel like that ruins the experience just a tad bit because I am connecting a low grade speaker to a top grade system and almost drowns out the quality of sound coming from the two front surround sound speakers mounted on the wall. But I will play around with it and see what I like better. As far as the subwoofer goes it is great truly is immersive vibration but if there was a way to connect a 1000W RMS or higher subwoofer (something comparable like a nightshade v5 2500W sundown audio subwoofer for a car) to this system I would highly recommend adding a new subwoofer to the Sony line up that is twice as powerful as this one or give me the ability to add a second subwoofer to the system. I can say I have never sat in my living room and watched an action movie and heard bullets zing past my head before. But with this surround sound that is exactly how it sounds and I can say with all honesty it is really an amazing and cool experience to have as my first one. Hope this helps with future bug fixes and tech updates. Please let me know if you add a new more powerful subwoofer or make it so I can add a second one to the system. Thank you!

It’s an excellent speaker. Sounds great for music. Sounds great for the television. I will be adding a subwoofer and bookshelf speakers later.

I added this subwoofer to my Bose 301 bookshelf speakers end it sounds awesome. The Bose don’t have a lot of bass and the Polk fills in that gap.

Definitely sounds better than tv speakers. Speaker had very good reviews. It mentioned subwoofer improving the sound even more. Debating if I should get it or not. :) Setup was easy. Would recommend for sure.

I absolutely love the sounds quality of this speaker set. The subwoofer makes all the difference. The left and right speakers are nice and compact, sitting on my desktop. I love how they aim up directly at my ears !! Plus they look really slick. Bought a Kopul 1/8 Stereo Mini to Dual RCA Y-Cable - 10' (3 m) to connect these speakers to my gaming laptop 3.5mm (headphone) port Can still connect my headphones directly to the speakers, if I want. Very easy set up.

Amazing sounds the subwoofer thumps realy my couch vibrates when cranked.I also got the SR2 rear speakers n wow I got a SUPER CHEAP PRICE on marchs discount i got a magnifi mini xr for 300$ w/ I got SR2 rear speakers for 150$ the sale is over but they will have more they got great customer service n fix things quick .So check em out imo super quality easy to pair to wifi.So I got a 700$ soundbar n subwoofer w/ 2 back speakers/magnifi mini is 500$ n

Does what it's supposed to do -- isolate a subwoofer from floor vibrations. Subwoofer sounds better now.

Sounds wonderful, and takes up very little space, even with the Subwoofer.
