Logitech Wired Thumb Trackball Mouse

I have owned Logitech trackball mouses since 2000. Most I loved, a few I used but recognized some issues. In general, I consider a thumb based trackball mouse to be the best out there. It uses a thumb which can rotate in any direction and is built for fine motor skills unlike the wrist driven mice. Here's why I like this particular mouse and call it the best I've ever had: 1. Everything is well built and works without issues. The ball itself swivels easily. It's easy to clean. The buttons work. It sticks to the desk and doesn't move 2. Bluetooth is a dream. It connects easily to my Mac and stays connected. It's just rock solid in that way. 3. Battery life is long. I have usually forgotten the last time I replaced the battery by the time I swap in a new pair. I was a bit worried because I wanted to use bluetooth and Logitech warns that bluetooth connections consume more battery than their proprietary connector 4. It's easy to use Mac config to set tracking speed, scrolling speed, and double click speed. Overall, this is the best mouse I've owned. 5 |

I have arthritis in my thumb & this trackball/mouse is fantastic. The large ball & the scroll wheel is very accommodating & easy to use.The wrist pad that is included is comfortable & attaches to the mouse so there is no slipping away. 5 |

I love this mouse. It's wireless, the trackball is located in the middle so you use your forefinger, not your thumb, to navigate, and best of all, if it's dropped or falls off the surface it's on, the trackball doesn't come out! I have spent too much time searching for stray trackballs. Buy it now! 5 |

I am so grateful to have found the Kensington Trackball. I bought it to replace two Logitech trackballs that I had previously owned (the M570 and the Ergo M575). I had to go online to find the Kensington because all of our local stores only carry Logitech. The Kensington is brilliant. Once you learn how to customize the trackball using Kensington's software, it's easy to find the most comfortable angle for your wrist. The Kensington is solid and heavy, which I like. It stays in place on your desktop. The USB dongle connects the mouse without disruption. And I like the scroll wheel. The Kensington itself is more intuitive to use than you would think, and (hopefully) it will last a long time. It comes with a manufacturer 3-year warranty, which is the longest manufacturer warranty that I have seen on trackball mice of any brand. This mouse is definitely worth the price. I take online classes and write computer programs, so this trackball mouse helps a lot with relieving wrist and forearm pain. It's worth the investment. It takes a few days to get used to it, but once you do, it's doubtful that you will go back to other mice, trackpads, and such. 5 |

I've always used a trackball over a mouse. No need for extensive desk real estate. This is my second Orbit, one on home desktop and one on work desktop, both of which replaced Logitech Trackman trackballs. The Logitech was good but no scroll ring. I also have two Kensington Expert Mouse trackballs on editing machines. These are the best but a little pricey. The Kensington Trackball Works software also makes it easy to customize your user preferences and responsiveness. 5 |

I've been using Kensington trackballs for about 16 years. I forget what they called the with one with the wheels but that was my first. I moved to expert mouse when optical technology came out. I still use an Expert Mouse wireless, an Expert Mouse, and now this SlimBlade. Believe me folks NOBODY makes a trackball as smooth as Kensington. I got this SlimBlade to use with my HP laptop because I just couldn't stand the products offered by Microsoft and Logitech. The SlimBlade has a unique way of scrolling by twisting the ball and after two weeks I see the death of the scroll wheel on the horizon - it's that intuitive. If you want a trackball save the money you'll waste on a MS or Logitech ball and pay the few dollars more for the Kensington. You won't go back. 5 |

I have been a Kensington Expert Mouse Trackball customer for decades, but up to now have only used the wired version. I wanted the wireless version for when I'm away from home. I use it with a 16 MacBook Pro and prefer something besides the built-in trackpad for moving the cursor around and scrolling chores. When I'm at home, I have the MBP plugged into a dock that has a Kensington Wired Expert Mouse connected. I'm very happy with the wireless version. Works as well for me as the wired ones at home. I use the Bluetooth connection option, not the dongle. No issues to report. Yes, the trackball is somewhat bulky, but there's plenty of room for it in my backpack. I'd recommend it! 5 |

This hub is just the thing for connecting up your laptop to your wired USB-A keyboard and mouse/trackball, external monitor, and ethernet, if you're old-fashioned enough to use actual wires. It's small and lightweight -- very convenient for packing along with a laptop when shuttling between locations where you've stashed full-size peripherals. 5 |

Love this mouse. I recently started a new job which required a lot more computer time than my previous work. I had the Logitech pebble mouse in rose & I love it, but was getting a lot of pain in my wrist & thumb due to the shape of the mouse in my hand. Switched to this ergonomic mouse & it's great. Wrist & thumb pain went away almost immediately. The rose colour matches my Logitech keyboard (& my pebble mouse, though that is retired for the time being). The scrolling wheel is super smooth & the buttons don't make loud clicking sounds. It also connected easily to my Macbook pro. There has been some learning curve adjusting to the vertical shape, but overall it's been a great experience. 5 |

I have the Logitech G603 wireless mouse and its good but tended to lose connection with my computer too often. I bought the G403 wired mouse and like it much better. Very smooth, responsive and never loses connection. Better overall than the G603. I also like the mouse cable, which is braided and extra long. Consider this wired mouse if you're tired of dealing with dongles and losing connection. 5 |
