Logitech Z 5500

I was aware that this is a 2013 product, but I purchased it anyway because I wanted to connect my speakers (Logitech Z-5500) via an Optical cable, instead of the analog conection that my PC mainboard has. Windows 10 recognizes the card with no trouble, and the Creative driver still works after all these years.

Be sure that your DSLR has an IR receiver (the Nikon D5600 doesn't, but D5000-5500 cameras do). They do not make Nikon DC2/3 adapters either. If you aren't using a DSLR you can use your smartphone but it does take a while to compile all of the images and that was on my flagship Galaxy phone. The turntable is accurate and being automated is a huge time saver compare to manual turntables.

The color temp of this LED light is 5500 - not higher and not lower - for all 3 of the ones that I own. The color rendition for skin tone is excellent on my Sony A7S3. I have used two as a Key pushed though a silk. The color and the overall light is excellent. I only wish they made a brighter (more output) version. Maybe a 24 will be their next one and I would buy it if it ever happened!

I do not think this is too expensive.I had previously used the z-5500, which this replaced; this is not as good but it is satisfying as a 5.1 solution when there are so very few 5.1 solutions for pc gaming available. In fact I am surprised and pleased with it to point of no longer missing the z-5500; when I realized this the other day I was so glad that I felt like writing a second review. I am able to adjust settings for my pc, windows 7, to play music or to play games, and with both I am happily satisfied. It is a satisfying sound, meaning to say there is not anything irritating or frustrating about the sound, esp since I have learned how to adjust the settings by practice; the surround speakers have a more distinct quality than the z-5500 surrounds, brighter I would say; the subwoofer is better than I expected, believable in games and in music both (although is does not move furniture like the z-5500 did). It has an attractive, to me, appearance. It is versatile.

The AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz Six-Core AM4 Processor is a stellar performer, effortlessly handling demanding tasks. Stays cool with little effort on my pc end but perfect balance between power and consumption. Got it for about 100, it delivers exceptional value, making it my top choice without breaking the bank. The Ryzen 5 5500 is a game-changer, redefining efficiency and power I am satisfied. (Combined with XFX RX 7800XT)

I primarily purchased this light to work outside in interview situations. The first day I ran it outside in over 90° heat for over five hours, it worked flawlessly. I don’t think 5500 is 5500, I was working more along 5100 for White

Performs beautifully in native 5500 mode, producing very clean, soft light. The RGB mode is equally pleasing, providing a multitude colors for backgrounds and for offbeat, mood-evoking light. 5500 mode is very bright at full power; RGB light is considerably less bright. For less than $130, you can buy 3 of these babies for the cost of just one of the Westcott lights, making the YN360 II a must-have (unless one is a "brand-chump" who sneers at the "cheapo" brand equipment). The YN360 II is bulky without being ponderous; holding it for extended times should be no trouble for your assistants. A screw mount makes attaching the light to a light stand easy. If all this isn't enough, Yongnuo provides a free app for iPhone (and I think for Android as well) enables complete, hands-free control of the YN360 II both in 5500 mode and in RGB mode. I can imagine that treated with appropriate TLC, this fine light should last for years. Recharging the light is easy and fast, using the provided charging cable. Yongnuo hit it out of the park with the YN360 II. This is an easy 5 star recommendation, for fine performance, for features unavailable in the Westcott light, all at a price within reach of any photographer.
