Logitech Z 680 5.1 Computer Speakers

I bought the Z906 to replace my aging Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 system with a failing amp. I loved the Klipsch speakers, but sadly Klipsch (and seemingly everyone else other than Logitech) has stopped making 5.1 multimedia systems. Thankfully Logitech makes a pretty good unit. The real draw to something like this, in my opinion, is if you want a relatively compact, reasonably-priced, good-sounding setup that you can easily plug a computer into. I've used this sort of setup in my living room with great results, and at a fraction of the cost of buying separate components. Since my computer has pretty solid sound-processing capability, I don't have the need for all the extra features of a stand-alone receiver. The Logitech Z906 packs quite a punch and sounds almost as good as the Klipsch in most situations. Pluses for the Z906 are it's built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoding (for things like an XBox) and its included remote control. True, it doesn't handle the Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD soundtracks on Blu-Ray discs, but my computer does, and so the analog pass-through from the PC into the Z906 makes this unnecessary in my case anyway. The Z906 seems solidly built, and is easy to install with its standard speaker mount points and spring-lock speaker wire connectors. One very minor quibble is that the power cable is permanently attached to the sub (the Klipsch used a detachable C14 computer-style plug). Overall, I'm very happy with the Z906. 5 |

I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again. 5 |

I had Logitech speakers for my computer in my house previously, but I moved into an apartment and thought they would be too loud for my 80 year old neighbors and gave them away. This year I moved in to a house again and kept wishing I had my old speakers back. I searched the Logitech site and found the Z323 system with an adjustable subwoofer and great sound! I'm back to rockin' out and enjoying my music again! :) 5 |

I HAVE PURCHASED LOGITECH SPEAKERS BEFORE FOR MY OLD COMPUTER , I JUST SIMPLY UPGRADED THEM. THEY ARE THE BEST. AND I WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMED THEM TO OTHERS TO PURCHASE. I AM VERY PLEASED. 5 |

This system is fantastic. I bought it as an upgrade to my old Logitech computer speakers. I love the little on/off and volume control and the sound quality is off the charts. I truly don’t believe that you could buy another, even more expensive system, that sounds this fantastic. 5 |

This 2.1 system by far is the best set-up I have ever owned from Logitech. Speakers are crisp and clean, lows are low and highs or high. I use these while gaming, as my PA speakers when I'm making my style of music(electro house) on FLStudio and mixing while using my DJ Pioneer DDJ-800 controller. Thanks Logitech for making such a fine product, and never discontinue these great speakers. Thanks 5 |

So here it is I bought these speakers and just received them today. I had a 5.1 Yamaha Sound System but because of a baby and the potential to pull the tower down upon themselves I decided I needed something more compact. So Roku you were the first choice because price wise you knocked it out of the park with the $149.00 price tag that I was able to snag them at. I get them home and let me tell you the hook up was so effortless and simple. I loved the fact that you could place the speakers either way you wanted and be able to program which was left and which was right. I have already tested several movies and the clarity of sound and volume of speech is perfect. There is one draw back that I would like to address and that is that when in game mode these speakers shut off and the sound goes through the TV speakers which I expect shall be addressed in an update I hope sooner rather than later. If you have a RokuTV then these are the speakers for you. I assume a center, sub, and rear speakers will eventually be an option to add and if so Roku let me know because I would love to test them out for you. Get these speakers! You will not be disappointed. 5 |

Great unit. I’m very happy with it. I’m running energy connoisseur speakers 5.1 system. Should I get the MM7055? 5 |

Added as front speakers for bedroom surround system 5.1. Full rich sound, a great improvement over more compact speakers. Powered by Denon amp. 5 |
