Long Cord Surge Protector Power Strips

This power cord has a long cord, light to show that it is powered on, and the surge protector that you should expect from a power strip.

Needed a surge protector with long cord and close clearance plug. B&H had exactly what I needed. Cord is heavy duty. White color provides a clean look in the office.

This is very helpful to add another device to the end of an extension cord, without using a large surge protector or power strip. Small and rugged.

I needed a surge protector with a longer power cord for a solution so I selected this Belkin model because of other solid experiences with Belkin products and their warranty on this product. Finally, the price for my needs was most fair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Belkin surge master surge protector is great! I really like the fact that it has a 12 foot power cord on it. I’ve got plenty of cord length to stretch it to where I need it. I like that it not only has the six outlets that are side-by-side but it also has a separate outlet off by itself that accommodates something bigger like an adapter as opposed to a regular plug. The safety covers are nice because I can close any off that are not in use. The lights near the power switch clearly show that the surge protector is working. The phone and modem jacks being on the end means that they’re not gonna get in the way of the other chords. The plastic bar on it lifts up and down easily to keep those cords down which is a nice little feature. Belkin has done an awesome job putting so much into a surge protector to protect my electronic devices. This one is a must to consider if you’re in the market for a new one. I definitely recommend it.

The power cord is longer than average for a power strip, which is fantastic for utility, and my favorite part is that the cord is flexible so that the cube sits flat on the surface. All-around great office tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector works real well and has room for 7 outlets. One of the outlets has space for a larger plug so you don’t have to waste a plug. The power cord is 12 ft long so it will reach to far away places. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and have not had any issues. It also has a place to connect your home phone line if you have one of those for added protection. I recommend this to anyone needing a surge protector. Love these power strips and love the long cord. And we bought them on sale, so a two pack at half the price... It's a great day! They are sturdy and well built and I've never had any issues with the outlets no working or going out.

This thing is a beast. It's not so much a surge protector as it is a smallish power conditioner. It's hard to tell if you've never seen one, but it is about 3' long. If space is a premium and you don't need clean power, this may not be the droid you're looking for. If you can spare it, and aren't frightened by the price tag (which is entirely reasonable for what you're getting), then I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Not all surge protectors are created equally. Most are just power strips misidentified as surge protectors, but are a strip of electrical sockets. If your equipment is worth protecting, why would you use a fake, cheap substitute?
