I've been getting back into vinyl over the last few years. My home theater system didn't have a designated "phono" in. Records sounded ok on it? But the volume was way down. I tried a few pre amp options, and nothing seemed to work. I bought this, and so far I love it. I hooked my turntable in, and my records sound fantastic! It also has Bluetooth connectivity, so you can play from your phone too. Lps and streaming are about the same output... CD's are definitely louder. But I think they always were anyway? So, I'm super happy with my purchase, and use it mostly for my old (but great shape) records. 5 |
