Longest Range Wireless Security Camera

Got this to extend the range on my wireless modem for my security cameras. So far I love it!! 5 |

I wish the range were a little better, but this little gadget is an inexpensive wireless remote for your camera. 5 |

I needed to connect an outdoor wireless security camera to Wifi but the signal on the main router wasn't strong enough to penetrate a thick masonry wall. The TP-link solved this problem. I set it up inside at the wall needing signal penetration but in line with the router. It worked perfectly - having a booster closer to the camera did the trick. 5 |

This lens is sharp from the short to the long end of the zoom range. I have made very sharp large prints, even with the lens at its longest zoom end. This is very unusual for a super zoom. The stabilization of the lens is very effective, I have made sharp photos from a bouncing truck. The light weight of the lens and the long zoom range make this lens very useful for travel. The lens is compatible with all Nikon DSLR cameras (Full-frame cameras switch automatically to the DX mode). Highly recommended. 5 |

Focus range of 7ft perfect for close viewing and just as clear at longest focal length. Brighter than 50mm optics, light and easy to carry. 5 |

This is the longest range lens I have ever owned (from any brand) so it takes some getting used to - especially moving targets. Its a great lens, and just after using it a handful of times (and it is a handful, but not as heavy as I expected) it is getting easier to use. 5 |

As an assistant camera, I add a lot of value to myself by including a wireless follow focus with my rate. I couldn't afford to purchase a preston or any sort of 3-channel system at the time, so I decided to buy the microRemote system so I could at least say it's an option. I was concerend about the previous reviewer's comments on wireless range, so I contacted redrock directly to see if they had any comment. They told me that all new units were now shipping with an upraded chip that gives a 1 mile line of sight range. I thought that was pretty ridiculous, but with that states spec I figured it would work for my needs. And it does. The new chip lets me go further than my Teradek wireless video signal will even go. I can blow through walls, houses, anything. I have yet to loose a connection, or even needed to change the channels on the back. The unit works great, and I ended up purchasing the run/stop cable for epic cameras so now I can trigger the recording of an epic/scarlet wirelessly, which is super nice. I really like the mapping feature of it as well, so even when I'm forced to pull focus on short-throw L-series lenses, the system expands the throw so I can actually make marks with the much longer through of the control unit. 5 |

I had a wired remote that kept me tethered to the camera. This wireless (RF) remote with it's terrific range let's me capture those wary birds with me out of their sight. Not the slightest camera shake with hands off operation. 5 |

All the specs indicate line of sight range, but my need is for wireless transmission on a run & gun audience/stage camera for concerts and live events. I was worried it might not work if bodies got in the way or if the camera went around a corner or behind a bleacher, etc. Havent tested in a large audience yet, but I can go out of my office, close the door and get about 50 feet before receiving artifacts. Going down a staircase, connection is lost completely and it takes a while to reconnect. As long as the camera operator stops moving away when artifacts begin, this should work reliably for me. 5 |
