The Lorex A14 IP Wired Dome Security Camera system works great. The pictures are clear and let you zoom in for a better view. This is the best camera system that I have had. 5 |

In the past 15 years I have used various brands and models of video surveillance cameras for our home and Japanese garden. I have sought to buy high-quality products equipped with PTZ and Power-over-Ethernet that were provided with user-friendly documentation. When it came time to replace several older cameras I discovered this Lorex model at B&H and purchased one. Features that first delighted me: (1) It came equipped for either surface (ceiling) or wall mount (and with all the hardware necessary); (2) among its features was ONVIF capability (connect it to your router or switch and it adopts an IP address granting access consistent with your network); (3) use a browser to go to that assigned IP address and a Lorex control panel opens in which you can assign a fixed IP address (good practice for 24/7 camera use); (4) superb industrial design (example: installation last step is attaching the dome under the camera from below, but delightfully the screws for that are lossless--designed into the dome mechanism so they won't fall out; (5) carefully prepared documentation that, while it requires carefully reading, leaves nothing to chance; (6) even the tools you need are included as is a 100-foot length of Ethernet cable; (7) the camera's images are clear, crisp, and nicely color balanced; (8) low light levels are quite good (but it does not provide IR light for total darkness, some ambient light is necessary). So, after that experience with my first purchase, I have since purchased two more. Two cameras are installed and the third is on its way to me from B&H. (By the way, early on I asked a question of Lorex tech support and they were back to me in a day!) This is the camera I have long hoped to find. And the price is right! Thank you Lorex and B&H. 5 |

Had the Ring Pro doorbell and recently switched to the Lorex to incorporate with my security cameras, and I am amazed at how much clearer the picture and sound quality is. I’m very pleased with the results of the upgrade. 5 |

I have a total of 5 cameras on this system up and running on the Lorex Smart Home Security Center . It is "basically " straight forward to get them running..... but not easy. you need to have passwords for each and identifying "names' of each. It is best to have all this info in a note on your phone so you can copy and paste it later in all the needed locations rather than figure out each one in real time 5 |

I decided to upgrade to Lorex video doorbell for a few different reasons. First reason was I was using a video doorbell from my security alarm system. It always disconnected from the internet when you tried to playback video or talk through it. They always blamed my internet. The Lorex camera has a strong internet connection and only takes about 8 seconds to load even when I’m away from home. My second reason to upgrade to Lorex is I have 8 wired cameras that work great. It’s very convenient to have all my cameras under the same brand and only needing one app. Have 4K video is also a bonus. If you’re looking for a video doorbell go and a purchase, you won’t be disappointed. For several reasons, I opted to upgrade to a Lorex video doorbell. Firstly, my previous video doorbell, integrated into my security alarm system, consistently disconnected from the internet when attempting to playback video or engage in voice communication. The manufacturer consistently attributed these issues to my internet connection. In contrast, the Lorex camera boasts a robust internet connection and only requires approximately 8 seconds to load, even when I am away from home. Secondly, I have eight wired cameras that perform exceptionally well. It is highly convenient to have all my cameras under the same brand and only require a single application. Additionally, the 4K video resolution is a significant advantage. If you are seeking a video doorbell, I highly recommend making a purchase, as you will not be disappointed. 5 |

These cameras are very clear and have a wide peripheral view. The thing I like the most about Lorex security cameras is that they have made their products user friendly. This system is easy to install and the support team has been very helpful. 5 |

Easy to SetUp,Potentially Portable,No Monthly Cost The Lorex Home Center with two Wifi cameras has to be the easiest security system that I have ever setup. The system consists of two 1080p wifi cameras and a base station with a touch screen that displays the video from the cameras. All you have to do is download the app, plug in the base station, and plug in the cameras. The app is then used to setup the cameras wirelessly. Because the cameras and base station are plugged in and not hard wired, the base station can be moved from room to room or the system can potentially be used at another location. The wifi cameras are designed for outdoor use; however, I setup one outdoors on my back porch and the other inside looking out through my front window. Video from the back porch camera was very clear and video through the front window was as clear as possible considering that there will be reflection from the window. The base station also includes voice control so that if you wanted to see what is happening in your backyard you would say something like "Lorex, show me backyard." In summary, if you are looking for an easy to setup security system that can potentially be used at several locations and with no monthly cost, I would recommend considering the Lorex Home Center. 5 |
