Lorex Wireless Home Security Cameras System
Ted W. | 2024-08-26 05:58:55 |
I have a total of 5 cameras on this system up and running on the Lorex Smart Home Security Center . It is "basically " straight forward to get them running..... but not easy. you need to have passwords for each and identifying "names' of each. It is best to have all this info in a note on your phone so you can copy and paste it later in all the needed locations rather than figure out each one in real time 5 |

Easy to SetUp,Potentially Portable,No Monthly Cost The Lorex Home Center with two Wifi cameras has to be the easiest security system that I have ever setup. The system consists of two 1080p wifi cameras and a base station with a touch screen that displays the video from the cameras. All you have to do is download the app, plug in the base station, and plug in the cameras. The app is then used to setup the cameras wirelessly. Because the cameras and base station are plugged in and not hard wired, the base station can be moved from room to room or the system can potentially be used at another location. The wifi cameras are designed for outdoor use; however, I setup one outdoors on my back porch and the other inside looking out through my front window. Video from the back porch camera was very clear and video through the front window was as clear as possible considering that there will be reflection from the window. The base station also includes voice control so that if you wanted to see what is happening in your backyard you would say something like "Lorex, show me backyard." In summary, if you are looking for an easy to setup security system that can potentially be used at several locations and with no monthly cost, I would recommend considering the Lorex Home Center. 5 |

I got the lorex home security system maybe a year ago, and I love it. This doorbell is a great addition to that, and the customizable zones are perfect. Picture quality is awesome, I recommend this if you have the rest of the system. It will not disappoint. 5 |

I just installed the Lorex Home Ctr. with the two cams it came with and an additional cam with flood lights. I used an installed as it did require drilling two holes thru the outer wall for power. The system is otherwise wireless. I was surprised that the wireless connection is flawless. The system seems to work perfectly and I was able to adjust the camera as not to pick up pedestrians and cars in from of my home. You may have to adjust you notifications on the system and cell phone. So, so good! 5 |

We had just one lorex camera and then we purchased the home center. This system is great and we love that we can watch the cameras from inside the house and get a notification sound on the selected cameras. We still receive all notifications on our mobile devices. We have recommended this to several friends. 5 |

I use this product to support a home video security system. I have 5 wireless G videocameras streaming live video from throughout my home. This is a budget setup and this router fit the bill perfectly. The router is constantly running at near wireless capacity as far as throughput. I use it on WPA2 b/g/n without issues. I gave it 5 stars because considering the cost and the benefits, I believe it is 5 stars. If this cost more, it would be 3 stars. 5 |

This was one of two cameras I purchased recently for a security system I installed on my home. It covers a side of my house where a boat and camper are stored. Installation was straightforward, mounted under the eaves of my roof, although it took me a minute to interpret the Ikea-like instructions for removing the cover when adjusting and installing. His-Vision had a digital video on their website that was helpful with that. Daytime picture quality is terrific. Nighttime is good, although this type of camera uses infrared, so the image is black and white. I have not fully mastered setting parameters for notifications, thanks to ADHD. Someday . . . 5 |

I like the Lorex systems for self control of my security. Battery powered wireless systems are easy to install and maintain. Not tied to a paid service. Thumbs up. 5 |
