This microphone records voice and instruments with clarity. Was advised that the USB connection makes it have less static than other connections, and we were happy with the results! The table top tripod is a great addition. 5 |

I have used this microphone only a few times since I was given it as a gift (but I did ask for it specifically). I have used it on my Pentax DSLR and there's a little static when there's silence, but when recording on the computer there is practically silence when there is no sound. This means that the microphone has almost no static itself. I think the only thing I don't like about this microphone is that the switch goes right up to On instead of the low pass filter (the little line between) but other than that it works very well. I like the tripod screw on the bottom, the aluminum body, the single AA battery use, and the plastic holder. 5 |

This instantly removed static and excess noise from my microphone. Friends could tell the difference. I love being able to see if my input peaks, so I know if i'm speaking too loudly. It's sturdy and made of solid materials. You can tell the quality difference between this and a $50 interface. Very happy with my purchase, and I would recommend. 5 |
