Low Ambient Control Switch

This light is approaching a Diva 400 in output. In any situation where you can control the ambient light, this will get the job done beautifully. This isn't going to compete with sunlight... i.e. don't expect this to be a key outdoors on a sunny day, but in any indoor situation with 1-2 people, like an interview, when you're going to block out windows or otherwise have control of the ambient light, this will make you really happy. Even when there's some ambient light (of any color) you can still work with it within reason. You can't put a person in front of a window, on a sunny day, and bring them up enough to not blow out the windows, but in almost any other indoor situation, this will get you what you want. Had I known I would like this light so much I would have bought a 2nd during a previous B&H promotion. This is a good size and weight, and the light quality is exceptional. I've worked on national shows/news and I'd have been proud to offer this light for various ways to flatter talent. Even in lower power situations, like filling in a face from below while HMI or something more powerful provides key... this would be an exceptional tool. My point is... many times this can be a wonderful key... and when you need more punch it can still provide other functions. It's a good light... versatile... and impressive in use.

the only thin that bothers me is the ambient sound when you stay still for awhile it does not automatically switch over to let all of you surroundings in you have to wait 2 or 3 minutes for that feature to kick in. Sony you need to fix that

My primary use for this mic is voiceovers on videos. I've only used it a few times so far but it has worked flawlessly and sounds great. I create tracks in Adobe SoundBooth and then drop them into Premiere. I've mainly used the cardioid pattern but in tests with the other options, I was amazed at the quality of ambient sound and spatial direction that the stereo pattern produced. Unfortunately, the Yeti's huge size makes it impractical to use in the field for ambient sound gathering. I really like the level of control you get in this single unit: Headphone and program monitor with level control; gain control; and the multiple patterns. I listed bulky/heavy as a con, but it's actually a pro, too. It's tank-like rugged and has a retro-quality look to it. Old-school audio gear was heavy! So, it's a pro in the studio or other stationary setup but a con if you want to run-and-gun with it on location or travel light.

I have man cave that has ambient light control, I sit about 15 feet from a 120 inch screen with +1 gain and this PJ gives you nice crisp and rich colors with deep blacks!! It is hooked up to an Onkyo 709 THX that has among other audio presets, height and wide Dolby PLIIz channeling for audio and it perfectly rounds out the sweet spot for a truly amazing 3 dimensional experience in both audio and video! On the downside, I noticed the DLP rainbow effect while watching the movie 300 in Bluray but then disappeared when I watched Avatar 3D in Bluray. Not sure if I got rid of it from all the tweaking or my eyes just adjusted to it as it is no longer evident. Weird, but I'll take it, now I'm in 3D heaven! I hope the fun lasts a long time....

Decided to switch systems, the best decision ever. This Camera is incredible. The Low light performance blows my mind and the video is incredible. I want to show the difference between my old camera, photo on the left shot at 1,600 ISO and the one on the right shot with the Sony @ 10,000 ISO. Noise reduction was not applied to the images.

Great 6-port unmanaged switch. Low-power, cool and absolutely silent. I use it in my home lab together with other 10G SFP+ switches from MikroTik. Can saturate 10G link easily. Had no issues with stability or reliability so far. Highly recommend!
