Because of its modest profile, it is simpler to tuck beneath furniture. I particularly appreciate that it has two locations that can hold larger charging blocks. I use the surge protector to power my guitar amplifiers and other accessories in my home recording studio. The long power cord affords me the ability to move the surge protector around the room without hassle. Lots of outlets and slim profile. Also a major plus is the low profile/right angle plug which fits flat against the wall allowing furniture to be pushed closer to the wall.

Low profile does the Job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the slim design of this surge protector and that it has a low-profile plug. I was able to easily mount it on the wall and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. The eight outlets are arranged well. I had plenty of room to plug in four AC-adapter blocks. And the coaxial cable protection is a plus.

Was looking for a relatively small profile surge protector with over 2000 joules of protection. Tripp Lite fit the bill. Good quality and I like having the LED indicators to know I'm protected and properly grounded.

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

It's a great power conditioner and surge protector for your gear at a discounted price!
