Lowboy Arcade Machine
Matthew | 2024-06-15 09:54:12 |
I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

The Impact Lowboy is a heavy duty light but I paid low price for a stand that will hold heavier lights like my Aputure LS 300x. I'm probably going to have to invest in some caster wheels because the setup is very heavy. 5 |

Just recieved my Impact - Lowboy Steel Stand with Wheels and Combo Head (4'). The quality of this is excellent, well built, heavy duty, big locking knobs, and looks like it can withstand some abuse. Having the baby pin that can rotate 90 degrees horizontal or vertical, is a nice plus. It also has a leveling leg screw, which I didn't realize when i ordered, but also a nice little bonus. 5 |

I had been looking for something that sat in the sweet spot between c-stand and aluminum light stand for the longest time. My light stands are amazing and I love them to death, but as I start getting bigger and better lighting solutions I have been quickly rubbing up against their weight limits. As for c-stands, personally I don't really like them. They are a versatile tool to be sure, but when you are one man-banding it and are trying to pack gear into a smaller vehicle (like mine) they can be awkward and cumbersome. That is why I'm loving the Impact Lowboy. It's as heavy duty as a c-stand but has the design aesthetic and functionality of a regular light stand. The first thing you notice about it is that it is heavy. I don't say that as a bad thing. It gives me confidence that my expensive lighting gear isn't going to cause it to buckle. The specs say it has a load capacity of 66lbs. A fully kitted out Ursa Mini Pro doesn't weigh that much. I don't think there is much this stand couldn't handle. Because it functions just like an average light stand there is no learning curve on set up. You know how to use it straight out of the box. What's different about it though is the leveling leg, which is such a simple idea, but so brilliant and so well executed. No matter how uneven the terrain, I can have a level support system. It's tripod functionality for lighting solutions. The only thing I wish were different with the Lowboy is that the feet on the base do not have grip to them. I would have appreciated some little rubberized gripping action to add more security on smoother surfaces. But if that is the only thing I can complain about I've already won with this stand. All and all I'm extremely happy with this and I think I will steadily be replacing all of my light stands with these. *slow clap, high five* 5 |

Performs well for our arcade side art project. very easy to apply with peal and stick backing and and a Bondo plastic spreader to remove bubbles. Great price too. Printed with K3 UltraChrome Inks on Epson 4880. At some point we will probably buy some 3 mil PSA Luster Calendered UV Vinyl Laminate to really protect the artwork. 5 |

The well-made and sturdy, almost arcade game style push button knobs are a perfect companion to Adobe Lightroom. One of the most useful gadgets I have purchased. I use them in conjunction with all the other Palette products but they are maybe the most useful. I have set them up to 'Edit in Photoshop', 'Increase Rating', 'Crop Tool', 'Before/After' and 'Undo'. Once you get used to the new way of controlling your workflow, they rock! 5 |

I am using the usb corder in combination with a Neutrik usb male/female converter on my custom arcade stick for playstation 3 and xbox 360. It works perfectly, no lag in the cable and is the perfect length for sitting on the couch and playing/practing. + Long cord + Lagless + Easy connecting and disconnecting with no issues. Will purchase again should anything happen to my current cord. 5 |
