I purchased this backpack to replace an old 1990s Lowepro camera backpack. I've used it a few times so far to carry equipment for several hours on photography adventures. I easily carry a full-frame SLR, a mid-range zoom, two primes, light jacket, laptop, large tablet and miscellaneous accessories. I attach a lightweight tripod to the back and a water bottle on the side. All of these items fill the pack. So far, it serves me well, and I have no complaints. It matches what I expected based on the Lowepro videos. The materials are top-notch. It looks good. The organizing panels are very versatile and sturdy. It carries my stuff safely. 5 |

My first camera bag was the Lowepro Fastpack 350 (discontinued now as far as I know). Don't get me wrong; it was a good backpack, but it was way too big and bulky for what I needed. This backpack is the perfect size for what I currently carry when I take pictures. Obviously, opinions will differ based on what what each photographer/ videographer carries with them, but I would highly suggest this. Many people think they need to carry more than they actually need. I currently carry my Nikon D7200, a 50mm lens, a 35mm lens, a speedlight, and some other small things. I still have enough space to carry a water bottle with me if I wanted to. 5 |

Just spent a month travelling with the Lowepro slingbag, which i loved, but found lacking in padding and storage pockets, with or without zips. i then bought a Think tank sling, which i also love but it compresses my spine (i have a disc problem) and its more backpack than cross body bag. Its perfect for my daughters smaller canon and her hiking stuff though! So i looked for something similar to the Lowepro, and took a chance on this. its awesome! was going to get the larger one, i checked out the videos, but for a 5'6 woman, this is plenty big enough, fits my canon 700D, a macro, a 300mm lens, flash, my purse, ipad and phone!! not that i carry all that all the time! basically, its a camera bag i can use as my day bag when travelling, or where ever i take my camera, the other was a day bag i could take my camera in. i like the flat bottom, its not too heavy, the backpack strap, which i would use while hiking, can be converted, im left handed so thats important. i like the velcro that can be hidden, the top loader zips, the front pocket is very deceiving, fits far more than you'd think. the strap is comfortable, and the padded part stays where you put it, unlike my last bag, and i love the quick adjusting clasp on the main strap. no loose ends either when you shorten them. The hand strap doubles as a suitcase strap when using as carry on, havent tried it but its great, really missed that last trip. the rain cover is good, but im still wondering why they dont just use waterproof material!! The bag is really nice looking too, i couldnt be happier with it, and the fast service from B&h is brilliant, also the reviews. thats why im leaving this one, ive bought three bags, a flash, and a tripod plus some small stuff based on the reviews on the site, and i am really happy with all of it, cheers 5 |

The Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II is a great camera backpack, I am upgrading from the 200 AW II which has served me well but I needed something bigger now. My number one backpack requirement was to find one that could fit a Sony a7sIII with a 200-600 lens attached, a Sony 70-200 on either side and some room to spare for other lenses, filters and blowers etc and this backpack turned out to be perfect. It's certainly much bigger than the 200 AW II but I think it fits nicely on my back and not only is it comfortable, but I feel like my gear is safe and not bouncing around while I'm trekking around woodlands or cities. I don't think I've ever spent over $100 for any kind of backpack, and I know this one is actually on the cheaper end of camera backpacks, but overall it's been stellar and would absolutely buy it again if I had to. 5 |

I've used a LowePro backpack camera bag for many years. I love the ability to customize the inside to meet my needs for any given occasion. Recently, due to a rotator cuff injury, I can no longer carry the bag on my shoulders. Looking for an alternative, I stumbled across this model with wheels!!! It's perfect. The size is similar to my old bag and fits everything I need to take with me. Being able to wheel it around makes it even better. If I were to make any suggestions for improvement, it would be to make the handle a bit more sturdy. Only time will tell how well it holds up after continued use. So far, though... no problems whatsoever. 5 |

The Backlight Elite 45L is the perfect backpack for a single day out in the field. I can bring a camera body and a full arsenal of lenses: 70-200mm, 24-70mm, 17-40mm, and 180mm macro. I bought this camera backpack to replace my LowePro Trekker AW. The LowePro did not have enough torso length. So the weight was on my shoulders and spine. Ouch The Backlight 45L fits me just right. I'm 6' and this backpack has the right torso length and rides right on my hips, where it belong. The extra large lumbar support is very welcome, too. I suffer from previous thoracic back fractures, compressed lumbar discs, and a reverse shoulder replacement. I can walk with this backpack comfortably for hours. There are so many nice touches to this camera backpack, demonstrating how much thought and engineering went into it. I wish that Think Tank made a 70L camera backpack in their MindShift line for overnight camping. I'd buy it in an instant! 5 |

I purchased the Lowepro ProTactic 350 backpack as a day bag. Pack the camera, a couple of lenses, and hit the road. I thought it was a good plan. However, I just did a complete swap from a Canon EF system to a Canon RF mirrorless system. The RF lenses are larger than the EF lenses. The camera is now both photos and movies, requiring more support, and in my case, a SmallRig Cage. The RF camera is now too large for the trap door on the top of the Lowepro ProTactic 350 backpack. The lenses fit, but you have to gut the backpack and redesign the partitions. After you've done that, there is very little room left for filters, microphones, spare batteries, and other support items. Out of curiosity, I took the RF mirrorless equipment out and inserted my old EF DSLR, and it fit great! This is a good size for an EF DSLR day bag, but it is not suitable for an RF system. I am switching to the larger Lowepro ProTactic 450 backpack (my second 450), known to be a good fit. I'm still giving the bag a solid rating because the product description states DSLR, and for that, it's well suited. 5 |

I need a backpack for my camera outings and the ones that I looked at for DSLRs are nice, but in reality, that is about all you can put in them- camera stuff. So, I went with a conventional style backpack and decided to store lenses in the Lowepro cases. The 9-13cm fits a Nikon 55-300mm VR with a Hoya HMC filter on the lens, the lens hood on backwards, as well as the caps on the front and back. It fit it perfectly. The case is padded well and provides good protection. Its got mounting straps with Velcro that will attach yo your belt, or to what I am using to store the camera in- a Lowepro Toploader 50 AWII. I will be buying one of these lens cases for each lens that I buy in the future. Very nice!! 5 |

I recently purchased a new Lowepro Flipside 200 AW II Camera Backpack as my old one had finally given out after many years of good use. There are some improvements with the new one, more compartments and space to store things. I use it exclusively to carry my Nikon D850 with attached Tamron 150-600mm zoom lens. These fit snugly with lots of padding. There is a protective cover for if/when it rains as well. Lowepro makes a great product! 5 |

I bought this to replace a LowePro backpack so I could access my camera easier on hikes & waking tours. It fits my Nikon D7100, Sigma macro & a Tamron 70-300 lens. I have just enough room for filters, cards & my charger as well as a few personal items. I wouldn't mind a little more space, but this is actually nice and compact while still holding everything I need it to and providing excellent protection. It does go over your left shoulder instead of your right, but it is very comfortable. Overall, very pleased! 5 |
