Lowepro Fastpack 350 Dslr Camera Backpack Dimensions

My first camera bag was the Lowepro Fastpack 350 (discontinued now as far as I know). Don't get me wrong; it was a good backpack, but it was way too big and bulky for what I needed. This backpack is the perfect size for what I currently carry when I take pictures. Obviously, opinions will differ based on what what each photographer/ videographer carries with them, but I would highly suggest this. Many people think they need to carry more than they actually need. I currently carry my Nikon D7200, a 50mm lens, a 35mm lens, a speedlight, and some other small things. I still have enough space to carry a water bottle with me if I wanted to. 5 |

Great backpack by Lowepro, this is my second Fastpack BP, very resistant and this size is a little smaller for mirrorless cameras. great colors and excellent quality 5 |

Gone through a few chunky Lowe bags and most recently the Lowepro Fastpack Pro BP 250 AW III. hated the lack of rubber on the shoulder strap and I was pretty sure I was reaching it's weight limit. This bags strap feels quality and isn't about to rip this year or the next. Fabric feels like it's up for a rugged 10 years of use. It's 2021 and I don't expect any product to last past 3 years and this feels like it will surpass that. I like all the pockets for my iPad, tools, cleaning supplies, fits my 6D with 12-24 sigma, 50mm, 35mm, 24mm and a spare body. This is a great working bag, and I'll probably use my other backpacks for travel since I can fit my computer in them and extra padding around the backpack. For day to day shooting this will definitely be my go to. 5 |

This pack was the best alternative we could find to the LowePro Whistler 350, which did not fit my wife (5'2). The Whistler 350 is a great pack for general landscape photography, providing excellent protection for camera gear and room for outdoor extras like outer layers, water, food, etc. but it simply could not be adjusted to fit my wife's smaller size, even though it fits me (5'11) perfectly. The Flipside Trek 350 is not as rugged, protective, or roomy as the Whistler 350 but it carries very well for my wife, is large enough, and it is a significant upgrade from her previous pack. We use Micro Four Thirds and for that format there is room for a body plus several lenses and accessories in the camera compartment, plus space for clothing, food and a tripod strapped on the outside. We have relied on LowePro packs and bags for our adventure photography since the mid-1980's and we own lots of them because they are functional, reliable and they are a good value. We are doing more landscape work and less adventure photography now so our pack needs are changing. This pack strikes a great balance for a smaller person's grab and go landscape pack. 5 |

I'm using this with my Nikon DSLR and 600mm lens. It's very well thought out and perfect for the job. I have a LowePro backpack that will not carry my tripod. This pack carries it comfortably, with the sidekick in the top compartment. 5 |

The Stroboflash Quick Flip 350 takes the strain off a DSLR's hot shoe and moves the flash away from the lens. This saves wear and tear on the camera and gives better results, including shadow and red-eye control. It is simple to use, sturdy and inexpensive -- and it works! It does add some bulk and weight to the camera-flash combination, but the pluses are well worth that small price. 5 |

I just got this well-built pack. I've loaded it up to check it out but I haven't actually used it. I've used Lowepro packs before, and so far this one seems to be among the best. Somewhere, it might have been on this site, the owner of some photo backpack, not this one, complained bitterly that the zipper broke while he was walking and his expensive gear fell out onto a sidewalk and broke. He asked the bag maker to refund the cost of the equipment. They refused, of course. One star for you guys, he decided, and I don't blame him. The zippers on the 350 appear strong, and they operate freely. Furthermore -- and this is not so obvious from any of the photos -- this bag has been designed so that even if all its well-made zippers broke at once, your gear would not fall out and onto the ground while you're wearing it. This is an important selling point, even if it isn't mentioned in the overview or the specs. If you're trying to decide between the 350 and, say, the smaller 250, be aware that the 350 (and 450 as well) have a much sturdier waist band than their smaller-volume counterparts. You can see this in the photos if you look carefully. If you've ever backpacked, you know how important it is to be able to shift your pack weight from your shoulders to your hips, for the purpose of reducing fatigue. The 350 and higher models have better waist bands for stronger waist support. A minor complaint: Product photos show that a tripod can be carried on one side or the other of this bag with the feet lodged in an outer pocket. But these pockets do not seem designed to hold a tripod's feet. And besides, with a tripod on one side and nothing on the other, your load will be lopsided. The right place for a tripod foot holder is on the bottom center of the outside of the pack. Maybe Lowepro will add a tripod foot pouch in the next iteration of this pack; I hope so. Meanwhile, I plan to improvise a center tripod pocket for the 350. 5 |

While I knew the backpack's dimensions, I was surprised to see it in person and just how roomy it turned out to be. The camera and 24-105mm lens, wireless mic system, ENG mic, camera charger, extra battery, card reader and cover fit easily. And, I still have plenty of room left to add in a telephoto lens if I'd like. 5 |

The Lowepro Passport Sling is the perfect camera bag for my DSLR plus accessories and personal items. It looks more like a travel purse than the standard I am a camera bag. So happy to find it. Extremely well designed. 5 |

I purchased this backpack to replace an old 1990s Lowepro camera backpack. I've used it a few times so far to carry equipment for several hours on photography adventures. I easily carry a full-frame SLR, a mid-range zoom, two primes, light jacket, laptop, large tablet and miscellaneous accessories. I attach a lightweight tripod to the back and a water bottle on the side. All of these items fill the pack. So far, it serves me well, and I have no complaints. It matches what I expected based on the Lowepro videos. The materials are top-notch. It looks good. The organizing panels are very versatile and sturdy. It carries my stuff safely. 5 |
